Buffet food was good but they weren't hot even though we started our dinner by 9pm. It did have induction but not sure if it was working. overall a good experience considering how good the lake side ambience is.

It’s a place with its own charm — the view is truly stunning, and the ambience makes it a great spot for brunches. This was my first visit, and I had booked the buffet for a Saturday, as it was my mother’s birthday. We were seated at a corner table outside the main buffet area. While it wasn’t much of an issue for me, it was inconvenient for my mother as we had to walk back and forth repeatedly. The buffet spread itself was decent, and I had heard a lot about their dessert selection, which indeed looked quite impressive. We were particularly looking forward to trying those. However, while we were in the middle of our meal, we ordered pasta from one of the counters, which took quite a long time to arrive — by the time it came, we were already close to finishing. What truly affected our experience was how abruptly things were handled towards the end. A server came and asked to clear our plates while I was still eating, and casually mentioned that the buffet was closing. Since our table was outside, we weren’t aware of what was happening at the buffet. When we went back, most of the food — especially the desserts — had already been cleared and moved to disposable trays. While we understand that buffets operate within fixed timings, in most places there is either a heads-up (at least 10 minutes prior) or they allow seated guests to finish comfortably rather than clearing everything abruptly. Unfortunately, despite the staff acknowledging our concern, the response felt indifferent, as if nothing could be done. As a gesture, we were offered one scoop of ice cream each, but the final bill remained unchanged at the full buffet price, without any consideration for the incomplete experience. Given that this is a well-known hotel brand with sufficient staff, better management and communication should be expected — especially since buffets are largely self-service. A simple heads-up or a more considerate approach could have made a significant difference. Overall, what was meant to be a special birthday lunch turned into a rather unsatisfactory experience, where we ended up paying in full without being able to enjoy the meal properly. In hindsight, the earlier negative reviews seem more relevant than we initially thought.
