The restaurant is good only for Prawns Koliwada, that's it! At around Rs 500 per plate it's expensive though. Rest of the food items were just average. Overall it was an expensive outing 😞

I recently visited Restaurant Lamba, a place well-known for its signature lamba prawns. The experience was quite mixed, with some standout moments and several disappointments. **Food:** - **Lamba Prawns (10/10):** The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the lamba prawns. They were perfectly crunchy and incredibly tasty, making them worth every bit of their fame. - **Butter Chicken (Boneless) (2/10):** This dish, however, was a major letdown. The butter chicken was tasteless, and the chicken itself was not tender, which was quite disappointing. - **Butter Naan & Garlic Butter Naan:** These were just okay. As someone who always prefers these types of naan with my meal, I found them to be average, not particularly standing out. **Ambience (4/10):** The ambience of the restaurant was below average. It didn’t offer much in terms of a pleasant dining atmosphere. **Service (1/10):** The service was terrible. The staff seemed inattentive and uninterested, which really affected the overall experience. **Staff (1/10):** The staff's behavior was unsatisfactory. They were not helpful or courteous, adding to the disappointment. **Seating (7/10):** The seating arrangement was one of the few positives. It was comfortable and well-spaced. **Price (4/10):** For the price of 1500/- for two people, the overall experience did not feel worth it. The quality of food and service did not justify the cost. In conclusion, while the lamba prawns were a delightful treat, the rest of the experience at Restaurant Lamba was underwhelming. With significant improvements needed in service, staff behavior, and some menu items, it’s hard to recommend this place without reservations.

My recent visit to the seafood-specialty restaurant left much to be desired. As a vegetarian, I was hopeful about their veg offerings, but reality fell short. The mushroom green peas starter featured an overwhelming half-kilo of peas overshadowing a mere six pieces of mushroom – a mismatched affair that left me puzzled. Things took a turn for the worse when my friends returned a fish dish, noting its stale smell. The veg gravy, promised to be medium spicy, turned out to be tasteless. When I mentioned it to the waiter, his solution was a salt shaker, leaving me to salvage the dish myself. Service levels were disappointingly low, and apart from a commendable plate of sliced onions, there was little redemption. Overall, a regrettable experience that failed to live up to the restaurant's acclaimed reputation.

Dosent even deserve 1 Star. We hv been going to Lamba for past 25yrs almost each year & must say except the lamba prawns everything has become pathetic. We went yesterday & again saw shaddy interiors, unhygenic Bathrooms, Shabby Walls, No music & only Attitude. We ordered prawans,fish tikka,soups,chaaps,biryanis & rotis but the taste has detoriated big time. The place needs a Renovation big time & worst part was we got just 2 peices of chicken in biryani. We ofcourse dint ask the waiter but dont plan to visit again as its become only Hype & no good food & a sad Place.

The whole restaurant is pathetic! The food is below average. We ordered a Biryani (it came after 30-40 mins) and it certainly without Raita. To my shock they said no raita will be served with Biryani and again there was 25 mins for the raita. The tables were partly cleaned. Tissue papers were still laying beside the table. The walls were uncleaned, with so much dust all over. The washroom was dirty! Over all a bad experience. I see there are negative reviews since 2021, please so something better.

Pathetic services. Zomato gave us Chicken biryani instead of chole biryani. And how did they resolve this problem after complaining? After 2 hrs money was refunded but what about our hunger. Despite calling Zomato and Lamba twice they didn’t care to send the correct order. Is this ur services for ur customers? Poor humanity! U have lost an age old customer because of ur greedy and cunning business mentality! Very sad state of affairs.

The owners have become arrogant over time I have been going there since 20+ years and quality of food going down proportionately as their arrogance goes up. Fish was dry, mutton kheema was very watery and overall experience I would put them 1 out of 10 . The guy who is owners son not bothered to listen to complaint of food .. overall I feel this place has lost its charm and quality

I had 1 of the worst experience by eatig in this restaurant..food was stailed and rates are next level..I had food poison after eating..guys plz be aware and not to visit this place

Worst food ever had and service was very bad. Fish tikka appetiser was only 5 small pieces worth Rs 540. No value for menu. Chicken main course was not even edible. Not recommended
