Late Checkout is easily the best place in Mumbai with great ambience and even better food! We had an incredible time and loved every bit of it. On the non-veg side, the Prawns Ajillo, wok-tossed chicken dumplings, and chicken wings were absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The veg spread was equally phenomenal. We tried the Katsu Tofu Bao, miso-glazed eggplant, stuffed Bhavnagri chilly (perfectly spicy!), dragon sushi, and dan dan noodles. Everyone in our group loved every single dish! We finished off with the Chocolate Tart for dessert, which was the perfect sweet ending. It is so rare to find a spot in Mumbai that actually delivers on both incredible aesthetics and outstanding food. Highly recommended!

Firstly thank you to Raunaq for a being s great The ambiance, food & drinks are great as said in earlier reviews. However, it din’t feel like a cocktail bar because of the loud music. Really request the hospitality, to tune into some good old jazz or classics, because pairing a good cocktail drink (expensive one) with “it wasn’t me by shaggy” on loud music doesn’t suit the vibe

We recently visited this place and really enjoyed the overall vibe—it’s a great spot with a nice ambiance. However, the food menu is quite limited and could definitely use more variety. We ordered the asparagus cream cheese dumplings, which were quite good (8/10), and the dan dan noodles, which were decent but not very memorable (6/10). We were also served complimentary bread with a dip, which was a nice touch. Additionally, we got two glasses of wine (rosé and white) on the house, and both were enjoyable. The total bill came to around ₹1523, which felt reasonable for the experience. Overall, it’s a good place to visit for the vibe and service, but expanding the menu would really elevate the experience.

I went to Late Checkout on a Saturday night for dinner with friends. We had booked a table via Zomato for the 7.30 slot It took us 15 to 20 mins to reach from the main gate to the restaurant. The approach way is really narrow. We tried calling the restaurant to let them know that we are stuck in traffic in the premises. There was no response from their end. They did not pick up any of our calls. Upon reaching we were told that they released our table since we were “late”. We tried explaining them that we were calling them but initially they refused to listen. Only after 4 other groups came behind us with the same issues of traffic and communication did they give all the groups the table. We were told that we should reserve a table, we paid reservation fee then they should have the basic courtesy to call before releasing the table for walk ins. Once this was sorted we ordered food and drinks. The drinks were good, the ambience was nice but the food was average. The Chinese rise had a risotto texture. The churros were almost cold by the time it arrived on our table. Overall the experience was very mid. Go once to enjoy the vibe and drinks. Hope the restaurant realises that repeat customers return basis the service , food and overall experience and not for the “gram-worthy” interiors.

Staff is very arrogant, especially the manager. We booked a table on zomato and reached the restaurant which was completely empty. Only 3 out of 25-30 tables were occupied. When asked for our table with proof of booking the manager said it’s a zomato fault they accepted the booking. We requested them kindly that we would have a quick dinner in 30 minutes because it was a booking issue on their end, the restaurant was completely empty AND we had come all the way (which btw is an extremely horrible location and hard to get to) It’s sad to see such service…

Not really great experience. Waiters were constantly standing on our heads to clear plates every 5 minutes, even though there wasn’t any rush today. We were not able to enjoy the experience and had to leave early.
