Loved the relaxed charm of this nook. You can hear yourself think here. Kudos to Rohit for his spot on recommendations. Wife also loved it, so overall a wonderful time for us.

1- FOOD (4/5):: - We tried the delicious Highway Murg Tikka which was served to us first. A chicken dish grilled and marinated with yoghurt, red chillies and served with two types of chutney: Mint and Perfect to go with drinks. If served shredded or into smaller pieces (to avoid hassle), wouldn’t it be much better? - Tenderloin (Beef) Burger: The juiciness of the patty was proof that it was cooked very well. It was served with a generous amount of lettuce, gherkin, cheddar cheese, grilled button mushrooms, and southwest dressing. We opted to avoid the grilled and caramelized onions. Yet again, you may want to work on the idea of providing a hassle-free eating experience since this is at the bar and guests may prefer easy-to-eat options - The bartender surely did justice to his recommendation of a sweet Margarita. The sugar rim enhanced the taste and flavour of the drink so much that I could’nt resist round two! - Tried the Kronenberg for the first time and its’ not the last time I’d ask for that drink for sure. This was an absolute home run of a suggestion. 2- AMBIANCE (4.5/5):: - An artfully designed space that sits adjacent to the main coffee shop. This place gives you a sense of elevation and comfort. A variety of seating options: comfortable maroon sofas that actually have crystals embedded, small round tables for a group of 2/3 or you can even pre-book yourself into the pods that seat upto 8 (minimum billing needed, but perfect for a private dining experience) - The bar stools were pretty comfortable for us to sit back and have a very casual discussion with blissful background acoustics; while watching sports displayed on a decently big screen 3- STAFF & SERVICE (4/5):: - Warm and welcoming; the bartender greeted us with a smile and checked for our seating preference. - The staff are well equipped to offer you drinks that suit your palate and are even open to personalisation - A minor error which occurred maybe due to the change of shifts: the rim of the margarita was coated with salt instead of sugar and later changed when pointed out. This could however, be given a pass considering the hospitality extended to us by the bar manager himself - The billing was a relatively slow process and kept us waiting - The feeling of being greeted with a warm goodbye by the doormen and valet was indeed a pleasant experience even past 11pm 4- OVERALL RATING WITH SUGGESTIONS (4/5):: - Can do with more flamboyant staff. Apart from 1-2 employees, others don't seem to fit the bill - We would have really liked if the server would have asked us the order of preference for the dishes too - Being a luxury hotel, casual regional languages spoken (even though at the back of the bar) could be controlled Goodbye Yet? - You won't miss a chance to visit this place for an evening drink for sure!

Le Bar Diamantaire is located on the ground floor of Sofitel. We visited this place during our stay there. Service was quite slow even for a relaxed ambience as they were short staffed that day. The online menu doesn't completely match the menu they offer there. Some dishes are removed which haven't been updated online. We ordered for the vegetable pizza and falafels. The pizza was really good. Loaded with veggies, amazing crust and saucey and cheesy. Bang on. Definitely worth trying. The falafels were too dry and very little Hummus was provided (see pic) . Labneh was given in a big bowl but it was sour so we couldn't have a lot. The falafel balls were well made if only the pitas werent so dry. It's an ideal setting for spending some time,having a drink or 2 and some appetizing food. 👍

Service was not good at all. We ordered 1 starter which Was Hara Bharat kebab and it took 1 hour to come and it was rubbish. It was full of potato & had butter in the centre.

Bar manager didn’t allow us to pay through zomato pay , real scam that is , and he was so arrogant that was not ready to check with his seniors , if payment is not accepted from zomato why keep that option I would recommend not to visit that place as they cheat customers
