@lisaslanka The srilankan arak as the welcome drink set the high tone for this brunch. It was then invited with a couple of cocktails with interesting concoctions as the base but were too basic to mention so skipping it to the meal. Charcoal Jackfruit Hopper (9/10) Moist, tender and the jackfruit had the right amount of srilankan spice. It was an appetising starter the meal and worth its bite. Street Style Srilankan Maggi (7/10) It was our regular Maggie with spices and chicken and tricoloured capsicum and veggies. Good in taste but not something you should order if you not looking for basic food and something purely srilankan. You can recreate this at home but if you can’t then go for it because this main course one pot meal will make you full. That is one dish on the meal and you are sorted. Kothu Roti with srilankan dressing (8/10) Heavy, flavourful and well made. Again being absolute carbs keeps you full in just one dish. Classic and likeable. Must order if you want to get done in one dish. Jaffna Curry (10/10) This is a signature curry that I would recommend with veggies or protein of your choice and the place does have amazing options for it. It’s a MUST TRY (highly recommended) by us on the menu. It’s a spicy coconut curry and goes well with a regular hopper or in my case egg hopper pairing was amazing for me too. Egg Hopper (10/10) I absolutely love it when sunny egg yolk pours off an egg hopper also when had by itself or paired with any curry does the magic for anyone who wants to experience srilankan cuisine in its core flavours. Spiced Palm Crème Brûlée (10/10) Cinnamon and nutmeg infused crème brûlée with palm sugar. Absolutely subtle, grounded and true to its flavour and taste. Lisa we thank you so much for your warm welcome and kind gesture to my son and all of us As we entered the tables were full lisa heard my son being sad as he wanted to have Sri lankan food she made sure we get a table and have her food and spent her precious time having a chat with us Aman was excellent throughout he attended us and gave his best suggestion in food Sandesha was so hardworking and had a warm smile throughout thank you so much Coming to the food after a very long time had comforting food Super shrimp fry and peppar chicken for apetizers were very yummy The hoppers were the best I have eaten so soft Prawns kiri hodi and Jasmine rice were superb Chicken jaffna curry taste yummy with the hopper Mango sticky rice was also yum Overall it was such a delight visiting here my son and husband loved It

I was going to be in Bandra and had seen the restaurant pop up on my feed so decided to book a table I reached a bit late and yet was greeted warmly no fuss and by greeted I don’t just mean at the reception I mean by the owner like being welcomed into their own home. I ordered the pepper prawns and the kotthu parata with mutton both were some of the best dishes I’ve had in Mumbai and the portions are great the staff is warm & will cater the food/drinks to your liking it is a lovely warm cosy place I went by myself this time will take my family the next time I go fabulous food & service !

We visited the restaurant for lunch today to celebrate my birthday. To begin with they have decorated the place beautifully and welcomed us with Gajras. The drinks were really refreshing - we had the melon mocktail and the cuban one. In starters- the burnt arrack seafood was the absolute star. We also tried their Karrupu mutton hopper and the signature Jafna curry. The taste was spot on! Our server, Ms. Parnika was really courteous and amiable. We had an absolutely amazing time at the place. Its a must try.

Lisa was there throughout attending every guest, every table and checking with everyone if they loved the order and recommending the next course basis their likes and dislikes. I love such attention to detail and I’m a fan of the personality she is. Loved the food, the vibe, the quantity and the entire experience. It’s a place you can take your parents to, they’ll love it.

I went to this place last weekend. Food was no doubt great- good quality, great service, delicious food. Lisa visit each table and suggest food. Loved their mocktails too. We paid the bill and while walking out there was a catch- I saw one medium size cockroach walking on the floor under the table near the bar. And that ended my further visit to this place. Even if the food is great, great hospitality, but if it’s not maintained well and there are insects, I would not like to recommend or visit the restro again. Especially I heard it’s newly opened and there is a cockroach

The food was good (cocktails could have been better), but our experience was ruined due to the long wait for the food. Don't think the restaurant was prepared for the mother's day rush & had booked beyond capacity. The seating was too cramped, there was no space between 2 tables. 3 people were seated at a table clearly meant for 2. They hadn't even installed enough air conditioners making the place stuffy due to the crowd. For the price we paid definitely expect better service.

When an other wise great lunch experience with lip smacking food is ruined by the owner coming to your table and saying “you guys have exactly three minutes to order desserts” since she had other guests waiting for a table. Been in Mumbai for 16 years and have visited several high profile and much loved eating houses but never been spoken to like this.

Extremely disappointing experience at Lisa’s Lanka on Mother’s Day. We had a 12:30 PM reservation and kept calling to inform the restaurant that we were delayed in traffic and would arrive by 12:50 PM — nobody answered. On reaching, we were made to sit at the bar with promises of a table “soon.” After waiting 45 minutes, there was still no table and no food despite repeatedly informing them we had a movie to catch and needed food by 2 PM. If you cannot accommodate guests, be honest instead of making families wait endlessly with false assurances. To make matters worse, soiled plates were repeatedly kept next to where my son was sitting even after requesting the staff to remove them. We walked out hungry, upset, and with our Mother’s Day completely ruined. Customers deserve honesty, sensitivity, and respect for their time.
