Dined at Long & Short and had a truly memorable experience! From the stellar hospitality to the great food and the beautiful view of Marine Drive, everything was just right. We started with complimentary papad and three delicious chutneys – a lovely touch. Then came the Peanut Papad Chaat – unique and absolutely delicious. The Bharwan Aloo was packed with flavour – sooo goood! We also had a main course of gravy-style sabzi with roti/chappati – everything was fresh, well-balanced, and comforting. The portion sizes were generous, making it even more satisfying. To top it all off, the staff surprised us with a complimentary pastry on learning we were celebrating my fiancé’s birthday — such a thoughtful gesture! Reservations are recommended, and while it’s on the finer dining side, the experience is totally worth it. Highly recommended for a special night out with a stunning sea view!

Absolute disappointment.. Had specially gone to have coffee with family today afternoon at 3pm.. we requested a table with a view, even though the place was completely empty, they said it was reserved and immediately after 20 min when some else walked in without a reservation the place was given to them because they said they won't sit for more than 30 min, upon asking jubilee seemed like the manager said that we are supposed to mention for how long will we be sitting there.. Absolutely ridiculous.. The cold coffee was rubbish, something which was room temperature.. Had gone there from Bandra specially.. with my close family.. doubt il be visiting again... Pls think twice.. before going.. @long&short Intercontinental Marine Drive.

This was the second time I went there after having a good time the first time around, and the experience turned out to be very bad. 1. On a Tuesday evening, we chose to have an outside seating, but after a while, my child wanted to take a seat in the AC section. The restaurant had at most 2-3 more visitors at the time, and despite that, one of their employees Sahil had the audacity to tell me, Sir we cannot serve two tables at the same time, you have to sit as one family. And if a guest comes, you'll have to vacate the outside seating and move inside as one family. I said ok, but there are so many other seats. He went away taking my order and then refused to serve me my order where I was seated, and asked another waiter to serve me instead. 2. I had ordered coffee and pasta. Having tasted pasta at many places, the pasta that got served wasn't great to taste. The other waiter who served me and the Manager was kind enough to listen to my ordeal, and tried to compensate by not charging for either of the items, but the combination of bad attitude and flat pasta had ruined my evening already. For a place that has such a great view, this is how it looked on a Tuesday evening. I wish them well, but they got to be mindful of how they are coming across.
