Mad Over Masala is one of our all time favorite restaurants in the Mira Bhayandar area. It is our go to place whenever we want to enjoy really delicious food with family or friends. We have tried so many dishes here and honestly, everything we have ordered has been amazing. The food is always fresh, full of flavor, and served beautifully. We have never been disappointed with the taste or quality. The location is very convenient for people staying in Mira Road and Bhayandar. The ambience is pleasant, comfortable, and perfect for spending quality time. The staff is polite, friendly, and always provides excellent service, which makes the overall experience even better. This is one of those restaurants you can visit anytime without thinking twice because you know you are going to have a great meal. Highly recommended to anyone looking for delicious food and a wonderful dining experience. Five stars from us!

Best family-friendly restaurant serving non-vegeterian and seafood speciality dishes. Here you will get alcoholic drinks at an affordable rates. It's a very huge restaurant serving food dishes from around every country. Must recommended are their threaded prawns and asian starters. Infact, the main course curries and biryanis are also a good option to try. Also, do order for their udta punjab, chicken patiala and murali chicken tikka. I personally loved this restaurant and the service of their staff.

The place is good for big families and your small groups. Talking about food the starters were too good we had 1. Korean paneer bao & roasted chicken korean bao which tastes perfect 2. Chicken lollypop size even after giving it review earlier that if you're charging 340/- for a six peice of chicken lollypop than atleast make the size of the lollypop decent, it cannot be Even compared with local restaurant size it's that small in size. I can bet that other restaurants serve a better quantity (per lollypop) than mad over masala. 3. main course - Murg musallam full 899/- I don't know if the chef knows the preparation of murg musallam or not. The gravy was not cashew made it was only tomato purry with chicken keema in it. that was ridiculous all the 899/- goes in vain. the rich cashew gravy is the core of the dish but they compromise it in that and keep cost as high as possible. 3. Chi. biryani was okay with less masala. I won't suggest getting main course here for non veg dishes.

The food did not have salt in it. All three dishes were bland and the Momos was very bad

Worst experience One of the worst dining experiences my family has ever had Absolutely terrible experience. This was supposed to be a family dinner, but it turned into a complete nightmare. We had made a reservation through Zomato and came to Mad Over Masala, Mira Road expecting a decent family dining experience. Unfortunately, almost everything went wrong. The service was painfully slow and the waiter was hardly attentive to what we were actually asking for. Instead of properly attending to the table, he seemed far more interested in continuously pushing the chef’s-special recommendations. At one point, his behaviour around the table while we were eating was itself extremely uncomfortable. The staff seriously needs training in basic dining etiquette and customer service. Then comes the biggest problem — the ambience and seating arrangement. The restaurant is far more cramped and congested than it appears in the pictures, and the crowd made the experience unbearable. There was a group of people shouting and laughing extremely loudly throughout our dinner. It literally felt like sitting in a fish market rather than a restaurant. My entire family was so disturbed by the constant noise that we couldn’t even complete our dinner. We had barely managed to get through the starters before the atmosphere became intolerable, and we eventually decided to leave without properly having our main course. We asked for the manager, and when he came, instead of addressing the situation or finding a proper solution, he simply suggested that we move upstairs. And here’s the most frustrating part: the upstairs area was actually much better. It was more spacious and far more suitable for a family dinner. If that space was available, why were we seated in such a cramped and uncomfortable area in the first place? I understand that a manager cannot necessarily control every customer’s behaviour, but managing the overall dining environment is part of the restaurant’s responsibility. If one table is disturbing an entire section of the restaurant, there should at least be an attempt to manage the situation rather than expecting the affected family to relocate. The worst part is that we were paying a premium price, yet the experience was nowhere remotely close to what we were paying for. The food itself did not justify the pricing either. For the price charged, the overall experience was simply unacceptable. Food: 0/5 Service: 0/5 Staff etiquette: 0/5 Ambience: -0/5 Value for money: 0/5 Family dining experience: 0/5 This place seems to be far more focused on fitting in as many customers and pushing expensive menu items as possible than actually ensuring that people have a pleasant dining experience. A family comes to a restaurant to enjoy dinner together not to sit in a cramped space, listen to people screaming across tables, chase waiters for service, and eventually leave without finishing the meal. For me, this was not merely a disappointing dinner; it was a completely ruined family evening. I would not recommend Mad Over Masala to anyone looking for a peaceful family dinner. There are plenty of restaurants where you can spend your money and at least receive the basic courtesy, service and dining environment you paid for. Never again.

Only the starters were good. Main course, breads and biryani were totally disgusting and tasteless. Not worth the money. Very disappointing.
