Mag St. has truly come a long way over the years — and watching its evolution has been such a pleasure. What started as a charming café-style space has now grown into one of Colaba’s most dependable spots for globally inspired comfort food, done with confidence and consistency. There’s an easy warmth to the place — relaxed yet stylish, buzzing yet comfortable. It’s the kind of spot where you can drop in for a casual lunch, linger over coffee, or plan a proper indulgent dinner, and it fits every mood effortlessly. The menu is where Mag St. really shines. Their thin, cheesy pizzas are easily among the most talked-about in the area — beautifully blistered bases topped with creative combinations like pesto potato & burrata or salmon & cream cheese. The option of a half-and-half pizza is perfect for the indecisive foodie who wants it all. The Lobster Roll is another standout — buttery, generous, and deeply satisfying. The Wasabi Prawns bring the right hit of spice, while the Shrimp Dim Sum in Ginger Broth is delicate and flavourful. The Spicy Chicken Gyoza and Pulled Lamb Bao showcase their Asian influences beautifully, and the Vietnamese Summer Rolls are fresh and vibrant. For heartier plates, the Eggplant Parmigiana is comforting and cheesy in all the right ways, and the Black Pepper Mushroom Curry with Rice delivers bold, warming flavours. Even their Asian-style fried rice and red spaghetti pasta have earned loyal fans for being consistently delicious. The bakery and dessert counter deserves its own applause. The croissants and baked goods are fresh and flaky, and the NY Style Cheesecake is rich, classic, and indulgent. The much-loved Moli Cake is another sweet highlight that keeps people coming back. Drinks round off the experience perfectly — from well-made coffee to refreshing cocktails like the Yuzu Margarita and Don Paloma, there’s something for every mood. What makes Mag St. special is not just the food, but the journey. It’s clear the team has refined, expanded, and elevated the experience over time without losing its soul. Today, it stands as a vibrant, reliable, and deeply satisfying dining destination in Colaba — a place that feels both familiar and exciting, every single visit.

Just left from this place and couldn’t wait to write down my thoughts. The best experience I’ve ever had. The staff called Pritam was absolutely fantastic. He was so polite and was customising everything as per our liking. No fuss at all what so ever. The food quality, taste was beyond expectations. I’m so delighted I chose this place . We had gone with our pet, a tiny pup to the Colaba branch as this is their only pet friendly cafe and she was made so comfortable and accommodated so well. We also ordered boiled chicken for her, it was nice and fresh. Surely coming here again. Thankyou Mg St

Went in evening, ambience is good, watermelon feta cheese salad is my best high recommended. Pasta was blank and moms were highly disappointed. I can come back again just to have feta cheese and watermelon salad.

Solid 3/5. Deafening place with decent food. Ambience is 2.7/5. Tables stuck too close to each other exactly like a fast food chain. Service- good service but trying too hard.

When you hear the name MG St Cafe, you naturally associate it with the well known outlets in Colaba and Bandra. Unfortunately, the Alibaug outlet is nothing like them. To begin with, the place was clearly short staffed. Despite being seated in an open area, the fan wasn’t switched on for nearly 20 minutes. Water took an unusually long time to arrive, and the beverages we ordered never came at all. The most alarming issue was with the food. Dishes marked green (vegetarian) had chicken seasoning in them, something we only realized after calling the chef. Shockingly, even the staff was unaware of this. When we ordered pizza, basic condiments were never served. Food arrived without serving spoons, adding to the overall inconvenience. Overall, it was a pathetic and honestly horrifying experience. Extremely disappointing and nowhere close to the standards one expects from this brand.
