We visited a few days back and the food is oh so amazing. I ordered the prawns malvani thali and it was so so tasty. For photo and video reference- https://www.instagram.com/reel/C4PgHg6vK69/?igsh=MWoyNGJhMmc0amV0OA== Surprisingly this place offers equally good vegetarian food as well. However, it is a paradise for people who love seafood. Everything you see in the thali is irresistibly tasty.

If you are craving for Maharashtrian seafood then you must head to Maharashtra Lunch Home. We had Surmai Thali and Prawns Koliwada. Also, caramel custard and gulab jam for the dessert. I highly recommend the prawns Koliwada.

This seafood haven truly lives up to its reputation! I indulged in: - Bombil Tava Fry (3 pieces) - 5/5 - Prawn Thali (8 pieces) - 5/5 The portion sizes and prawn quality were impeccable. The Prawn Thali's dual sukka preparations were mouth-watering masterpieces. *Highlights:* - Authentic seafood flavors - Generous portions - Excellent quality prawns *One Area for Improvement:* - Unisex washroom was unhygienic and needs attention. Despite this, the exceptional cuisine and service make this place a must-visit for seafood enthusiasts.

I've been a regular at this restaurant for quite some time, drawn by their reputation for excellent seafood. Today's experience, however, was unacceptable and has cost them a loyal customer. The quality issues were glaring: - The fish was poorly seasoned and lacked any flavor - Most dishes tasted watered down, as if diluted to cut costs - One item was clearly going bad and should never have been served - Nothing had the taste or quality this place is known for This restaurant has built its name on serving quality seafood. What we received today was the complete opposite. For a place with their reputation and prices, this level of quality control is inexcusable. I'm not writing this to harm their business, but management needs to know there are serious quality concerns in their kitchen. We came as regular customers and left completely disappointed. We won't be returning. If you value your reputation, address these issues immediately. Your customers deserve better.

WORST EXPERIENCE! COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTING!!! I heard so much about this place, especially for Thalis, that I decided to try it out. WORST DECISION EVER. For a placed touted to be the best for malwani food, it was an utter waste of money. We went on a Sunday night, and there was a bit of a wait, they made us order while we were waiting outside. They rush everything once you get a seat. We ordered a surmai thali along with prawns Koliwada. The prawns Koliwada had no taste in itself, the chutney alongside didn't help much either. The surami thali was disappointing, the curry was bitter, solkadhi wasn't any good either. the surmai fry only tasted better with some lemon and chutney and by itself was really bland. They should really taste their own food before serving. Nothing authentic about the taste, just bland food and disappointing service.

"Disappointing experience with Malwani cuisine here. The dishes, including prawn, fish, chicken, and crab, all have the same gravy, lacking the distinct flavors of Malwani masala and spices. To clarify, I'm not promoting Mavani Bhojan Restaurant, but rather suggesting it as one of the few places that genuinely captures the essence of Malwani cuisine. Sadly, most restaurants in the area serve generic Mangalorean-style curries under the guise of Malwani cuisine, diluting the unique flavors and traditions of this regional specialty. Hope this feedback encourages the restaurant to revisit their recipes and showcase authentic Malwani flavors."

The staff, especially the lady at the door, are extremely rude and despite demanding that we take a number and wait, they themselves break the queue and give tables to patrons as per their wish.

Requested to make the butter chicken less spicy, instead the chef made it very spicy. Total waste of money.
