Really bad experience here Staff is more concerned abt the bill total Extremely disappointing hospitality and a completely customer-unfriendly attitude. It appears your staff is more concerned about the bill value a guest might generate than the guest experience itself. I was made to wait for 20 minutes as a single person, despite visibly multiple vacant tables inside, including smaller tables that could easily accommodate guests. Turning away a customer while keeping tables empty is not efficient restaurant management; it reflects poor judgment and a lack of basic hospitality. Every guest deserves respect, regardless of whether they arrive alone or in a group or how much they are expected to spend. A restaurant's reputation is built on how it treats its guests, not just on the size of the bills it generates. If your staff believes a single guest is less valuable, you have a serious problem with your service culture. Mahesh and Anshul, I strongly urge you to look into this personally. You may be losing genuine customers while your staff focuses on maximising the bill value instead of creating a welcoming experience. That is a poor long-term business strategy. I seriously recommend every business person planning to go to Mahesh lunch home to avoid this place.....taste might be good but experience really bad very bad

Extremely disappointing experience at Mahesh Lunch Home. Considering its reputation, the food quality was surprisingly poor and nowhere close to what one would expect. The chicken was severely overcooked, and the food did not seem fresh, which made the entire meal quite unpleasant. I genuinely cannot recommend this place based on my experience. There are far better restaurants where you can get fresh, well-prepared food for the price you pay here. I would strongly suggest that the management seriously look into their food quality and consistency. Until then, I would advise others to consider other options.

Extremely disappointing and terrible service. The manager was really rude and disrespectful. They lied that the waiting time was 20 mins and made us wait for an hour, while others who had arrived after us were taken in ahead. What made this particularly uncomfortable was there was a clear pattern in which customers of their own kind were being prioritised which felt very discriminatory. There are numerous better restaurants for seafood in Mumbai, definitely not worth having to deal with such unprofessional staff!

The manage was extremely rude and disrespectful. A manager should be polite, patient, and understanding when a customer raises a genuine concern. Instead, his attitude was unnecessarily aggressive and completely unprofessional. Bad behaviour and attitude.

After calling them, they said no waiting, but when we reached they kept saying 15-20mins for 55mins. Also the guy taking the names was very biased & rude!
