Recently I visited Mahesh Lunch Home in Vashi and it turned out to be a really satisfying dining experience. This place is very popular for its coastal and seafood dishes and honestly it lived up to the hype. We started our meal with soups. We ordered the Seafood Combination Soup and the Chicken Tomyam Soup. Both were hot, fresh and very comforting. The seafood soup was full of flavours and had generous seafood pieces. The chicken tomyam soup had a perfect spicy-sour taste which was very refreshing. In starters, we tried Surmai Tawa Fry and Chicken Green Garlic. The surmai was perfectly cooked, crispy outside and soft inside. It tasted fresh and was well marinated with coastal spices. Chicken green garlic was juicy and flavourful with a nice garlic aroma. It was one of the highlights of the meal. For mains we ordered Prawns Mallipuram with Neer Dosa and Bhuna Ghost with Appam. The prawns curry was rich, slightly spicy and went perfectly with the soft neer dosa. Every bite tasted authentic South Indian coastal style. Bhuna ghost was thick, masaledar and the mutton was tender and cooked properly. With soft appam it tasted absolutely delicious. To end the meal, we had Tender Coconut Payasam. It was light, creamy and not overly sweet — a perfect dessert after a heavy meal. Talking about ambiance, the restaurant was very beautiful and amazing. The seating was comfortable and the overall vibe felt premium and family friendly. Service was quick and staff was polite and attentive. Overall, Mahesh Lunch Home is a perfect place for seafood lovers. Great food, great service and a lovely atmosphere made our visit memorable. Definitely a must-visit place in Vashi!

Had an amazing time at their seafood festival. The variety of fish preparations and especially the crab curry were just delicious. A perfect spot to satisfy seafood cravings.

Had heard alot about Mahesh lunch home but our experience was really disappointing. We ordered two starters and one Biryani. One of the starters didn’t had any taste. We informed this to the waiter but he only helped us with a feedback form and we had to pay in full for the starters that we couldn’t finish since it had no taste. Biryani was okay. Don’t think will be visiting Mahesh Lunch home again as there are many better places that serve really amazing sea food.

Went to Mahesh lunch home, fort outlet on last Sunday. Booked a table via Zomato for 5 people expecting it would be crowded. When we reached there the waiter/manager claimed that we had booked the table for only 4 people. After showing him the proof that we booked the table for 5 people via Zomato, he claimed that I was lying and I changed the reservation to 5 instead of acknowledging the system error. Very unprofessional and rude. Although afterwards they added an extra chair but this made the whole experience quite unpleasant

Worst cheap local bar type manager in night duty. Last night I did payment on the scanner provided by them and it wasn’t reflecting in their account inspite of money getting debited from my account. So the manager came and spoke extremely rudely saying wapas paise daal. I almost called the police as I was clearly getting cheated and he is like Mereko kuch maalum nahi hai daal paisa wapas and spoke to me like a cheap pimp. Very very cheap and 3rd class sasta staff hiring by mahesh lunch home. No class at all.

Pathetic service and pathetic/rude staff. Heavily disappointed, expected a lot more from such a big name in seafood restaurant. Had to wait for 20 mins to get a single scoop of ice cream which was eventually cancelled by the staff. Captain was busy matching match and had zero interest in taking orders.

Extremely disappointed with Mahesh Lunch Home, Vashi. They’ve seriously degraded in food quality. Ordered Butter Garlic Prawns – probably the worst I’ve had in ages, absolutely lacking in flavor. Fish Kebab was bland and tasteless.
