Had a wonderful dining experience at Mainland China, Powai! The ambience is elegant and perfect for both family dinners and special occasions. The staff was extremely courteous and attentive, making sure we were comfortable throughout. The food was absolutely delicious – perfectly balanced flavors, fresh ingredients, and beautifully presented dishes. The gravies were rich and comforting, and the Hakka noodles paired really well with the mains. Every dish felt authentic and well-prepared. Overall, a fantastic place for Chinese cuisine lovers. Highly recommended if you’re in Powai and looking for a quality dining experience!

Tried the Best of Mainland China – 6 Course Set Menu at Mainland China and it was a complete flavour journey. 🥢 From comforting soups and delicious dumplings like the Truffle Oil Edamame and Chicken Siu Mai, to flavourful small plates and hearty mains paired with fried rice and Hakka noodles — every course felt well curated. Ending with crispy honey noodles and a decadent chocolate cigar roll made the meal even better. A great way to experience some of Mainland China’s signature dishes in one meal. ✨

Has Dads Birthday celebration, lovely food and staff is always warm and attentive .. they made it extra special Bday !.. kept my nephew entertained also .. cheung fun veg and chicken was both amazing !

Visited Mainland China, Powai with fairly elevated expectations, given its reputation and thoughtfully curated menu. The ambience and overall spatial aesthetics are undeniably well-executed, there’s a certain sophistication in the setup that makes the dining experience visually and atmospherically pleasing. The menu, on paper, is intriguingly articulated, with nomenclature and descriptions that evoke a sense of culinary innovation and depth. However, this linguistic and conceptual creativity doesn’t quite translate onto the palate. The food, while competent, remains largely unremarkable, lacking the distinctiveness and layered complexity one might anticipate from such elaborate portrayals. In essence, it’s an establishment that excels in presentation and environment, but falls somewhat short in delivering a commensurate gastronomic impact.

Have been to two different outlets potion size and the quality of the chicken fried rice was 100% different. We do go to the same outlet just because of trust and we know what you guys are better at.
