Malgudi : Flavors that tells a story! Dining at Malgudi is just not about satisfying hunger it abt experiencing tradition. Wow! It reminds me of that authentic flavour of south that can never blend or be compromised with any menu it has that nostalgic taste of entering south stories. Some of their popular dishes we tried and could not resist. The dishes carry influences of family recipes passed down through generations. So fresh and from nature and their homely presentation elevates the experience. Their highlight always and often is served on a banana leaf coz it enhance senses. Their hospitality their heritage is always a highlight with several rituals that makes the food spiritual. I had a pleasure to experience such rich comforting food with their South Indian culture . Visit this place if you wanna experience nature!!

Tried Malgudi Simply South and had a really satisfying South Indian meal. The Coorg Idli was soft and well-cooked, while the Benne Podi Masala Dosa stood out with its crispy texture, buttery finish, and aromatic podi, served along with tasty sambhar and white chutney. The Malgudi Special Tiffin is a great choice if you want variety — rice options like lemon or tomato rice, a Malabar paratha, and a choice between Malabar or Chettinad curry. The flavours were authentic and comforting. The pineapple sheera was light and nicely balanced, and beverage options such as filter coffee, buttermilk, and masala chai complete the meal perfectly.

Tried this place at Infinity Mall, Andheri and really enjoyed the food. The menu has lots of options, so you’re spoiled for choice! We ordered Podi Idli, Idli Vada, Ghee Masala Dosa, Mysore Dosa and Pav Bhaji. Everything was fresh, nicely served and full of authentic flavours. The dosas were crispy and the chutneys tasted great. The sweet Pongal was the real surprise — super comforting and perfectly sweet. Overall, a satisfying meal and good experience. Definitely a nice spot for South Indian food lovers

Budget friendly place with amazing South Indian flavours. I tried the Malgudi special tiffin, which is now my favourite from their menu. Tomato rice, pineapple sheera,malabar paratha everything is fresh and delicious. Filter coffee is authentic and soul comforting. Also you must try their ghee podi idlis. They also serve benne dosa, its all over the Internet and they do an amazing one too,super crispy,buttery, its a feast really. Everything on their menu is worth trying really.

Visited Malgudi in the food court at Infinity Mall Andheri and it was such a pleasant surprise. The dosas were perfectly crispy and served with fresh, flavourful chutneys and sambar. The food tasted authentic and comforting, just what you want when craving South Indian food while shopping. Quick service and good portion sizes make it a great stop for a satisfying meal. Definitely worth trying if you’re at the mall!

Malgudi gets South Indian food right by keeping it simple and thoughtful. The flavours are authentic, well-balanced, and not overpowering, which makes the meal really enjoyable. Everything tastes freshly prepared and satisfying, the kind of food you crave again after you’ve eaten it. A place I’d happily return to for consistently good food.

It was amazing dine in with malgudi which is in Infinity mall, Food court, Andheri west. Love their Ghee Podi idli, Benne dosa, Appam Malabar Tiffin, filter coffee, medu vada. Everything was upto the mark, love the taste of sambhar and chutney. Staffs are very good. Serves fresh food and taste was too good. Must visit if you around this place.

Very tasty South Indian food especially the tiffin meals and benne dosa ! Beta benne I’ve had in Mumbai. The tiffin meals are also very tasty esp the Malabar curry. Also the filter coffee is a must! Portions are very generous too ! 10/10
