The veg curry, white chutney and buttermilk are the perfect accompaniments to these delicious dishes. Those who want a unique experience must try the Appam Malabar Curry Tiffin. The combination of soft and fluffy appam and delicious Malabar curry will give you a variety of flavours that will leave you wanting for more. The Neer Dosa Chettinadu Tiffin is another specialty, offering a light and refreshing option with a distinct Chettinadu masala. No South Indian meal is complete without a cup of authentic filter coffee. Malgudi Simply South delivers on this front too. Perfect for those who love authenticity over frills. 🍛 Food Talk Let’s get straight to the stars of the show: Benne Dosa: Crispy on the edges, buttery in the center, and packed with flavor. Absolute must-try! Podi Idli: Soft, spiced to perfection, and melts in your mouth. Filter Coffee: Hands down one of the best I’ve had in Mumbai—strong, frothy, and deeply satisfying. I also tried their Uttapam with coconut chutney and wow—so fresh, so comforting.

Tried their benne dosa – perfectly crispy, buttery, and just melts in your mouth. The chutney and sambar were flavorful and served hot. Quick service, no-fuss ambience, and great value for money. Ideal for a quick, satisfying South Indian meal. Gets crowded during peak hours, but totally worth the wait! A perfect South Indian tiffin combo! The idli was soft and fluffy, dosa crisp with just the right amount of ghee, and the medu vada had that golden crunch outside and soft center. Pineapple sheera added a sweet, fruity finish—warm and comforting. The filter coffee? Strong, aromatic, and satisfying. Great balance of taste, portion, and price. Ideal for a hearty breakfast or light evening meal.

Recently visit malgudi Simply south in metro mall, kalyan...They serve Authentic South Indian taste and services was great....They have wide variety of South Indian food.. Affordable price with quality food..Highly Recommended to try their Benne dosa & Signature Coffee

I ordered bene dosa filter coffee and pineapple sheera. Really love the taste and quantity of food is perfect. Specially i love the dosa.

i had a terrible experience with the service. i ordered Dahi Wada and it took half an hour to arrive. The taste was bland and not worth the ₹185/- i paid. It consisted of only cold Wada, plain Dahi, and Shev, with no Dahi Wada Masala added. You can get much better Dahi Wada from street vendors. Additionally, the smell of dirty mops is overwhelming if you sit nearby. Avoid this place for a disappointing and unsatisfying experience.

I had a horrible experience, ordered filtered coffee and asked for an extra cup to cool down the coffee, but the cup was so thin that the boiling hot coffee fell all over my lap just in front of the staff but hardly any staff had the courtesy to help me. Even when I went to complain it just didn't bother them!
