Best tasting food and most economical. Best service ever and please don't believe the one star review given by others.....I am a regular and never faced any issues mentioned by others.

Super fresh Dosas . Not very crispy and hence more south indian actually. Medh Vadas were very crispy. Coffee was just amazing. Its creamy at some level.

The soul of Mani’s was that it served very authentic Palakkad brahmin food in the thick of Mumbai. I have eaten at their old/original place delightfully several times. However this time, the soul was missing in the food. The sambar was a bit watered (made with sambar powder), rasam too, curries was ok, papadam was good (but a bought out item)…. the family running Mani’s must contemplate hard and maybe find a way to get the soul back, which is the main reason for the crowd flocking to eat there. If this continues, unfortunately will be the end of an era sadly! Let’s hope that does not happen. Service was very good, the meals was in front of me in 2 min flat of my sitting down. I was not made to wait for anything….i tipped the waiter generously!

"Mani's, your Sambhar and Chutney remain iconic, now restore dosa and vada glory." Mani's Lunch Home has been a every time stop at Chembur offering Tamil Nadu cuisine. Their Sambhar and Chutney has been tasting consistently for more than my two years of experience with them, despite the latter being reduced from three varieties to only coconut chutney due to the increased visitors. Recently they shifted to a new place, and the food quality especially Dosa and vada deteriorated exponentially. I really would like Mani's authentic taste to reflect soon. I appreciate their staff for their prompt service in a crowded place.

This restaurant is very good for south Indian lunch and breakfast. There is no supervisor to see the service quality. Waiters want tips, and hence, they don't give the bills in hand till you demand for it. The management may keep tip box at the cash desk.

The food preparation was pathetic. We requested for Thin pooris the pooris were horribly thik and Bhaji was over cooked. The restaurant do not follow any kind of cooking instruction and audacity for not picking up call too. Most hopeless food, we have experienced . No onions and pickles was also not send. Just for hack of it, they send food. My suggestion, never ever food on holidays. I am not sure about other days.

We visited this place due to its location but were met with extremely rude behavior from the staff. We ordered four thalis, and one person, following a doctor's recommendation, wanted to eat their own gravy with the thali's chapati and rice(paid Thali). The staff at the counter insulted us and refused to accommodate the simple request.

we have ordered 2 plate idli only one packet chutney and sambar we received and if we are calling they are not picking up phone... pathetic experience will never order again

very rude owner .. too much ego. Food is good but the owner is very bad . hate the hospitality of the guy at the cash counter. the waiters are sweet
