World famous for their Kepsa, we decided to try desi chinese at Mao Family Restaurant, Azad Nagar The ambience - okaish The service - excellent, given we reached the place at 7.30 and the crowd was still coming in. What we ate Sweet corn chicken soup - the chicken was not at all chewy, like we find at other places. We requested for some fried noodles for a crunch which the staff got for us in a flash. Chilly chicken dry - the chicken pieces cud be a little smaller, rest everything was perfect. Flavourful and yummy Triple rice - the rice was presented well but the gravy lacked garnishing. A little salty in some bites but overall good when u team it up with a chilled thumps up. At Mao Family restaurant u will surely have a MAOrvellous time.

One of a better restaurant among the others for family dining . Ambience is great but they must work on their outdoors for Mosquitoes.... Better go for AC hall. Must try dishes are Shawarma, Chicken Kepsa, Butter Chicken, Murg Musallam... Chinese dishes and Gravies not recommended...dint like them at except Fried Rice and Noodles... Better to try out yummy Mughlai Dishes❤ Also, service a bit slow🤷‍♀️... Recommended for Mughlai ❤

If you're looking for family dinner/lunch, this place you can surely visit. Affordable prizes and eloborate menu on Chinese. Sea foods are also really good. We've ordered chicken dispri, schezwan panner and chichen kolhapuri. It's been twice I've been here for its elegant taste. Totally loved it. Even waiters were so coperative in selecting it's best dishes.

Mao Family Restaurant located below Azad Nagar Metro station promises of good mughlai food at competitive price. We visited here for dinner on a Sunday night and the place was already packed when we went in. Service was average as Stewards were not very active at the work and had to reach out/call them for every small things like plates and spoons. I am sure they can surely work on this. For food we tried Chicken Manchow Soup, Chicken platter in Appetizers which had Chicken Tandoori, Chicken Pahadi Tikka, Chicken Banjara Kabab, Chicken Seekh, Chicken Tikka,etc. Butter Rotis and Murgh Begumbahar for mains and Lime Soda in beverage. Their food was very good especially I loved their kababs which was very well marinated and grilled to perfection. The marination of each of them were brilliant. Manchow Soup was average as there was unnecessary use of too much Schezwan sauce in soup which actually spoiled the taste. Maincourse was very good and the gravy of Murgh Begumbahar was perfect and went very well with rotis. Lime Soda was disappointing which actually spoiled the entire mood. The worst lime soda ever had in my life. There wasn't any difference between their lime soda and cough syrups. I wish I had not ordered this to spoil my mood. Overall a good place for mughlai food and would certainly return for the same but a big no to other things.

Food here is great no doubt but the staff cheated while packing the rest over parcel. We had taken kepsa I clearly put 4 pieces of chicken before giving it to parcel. And when opened at home it only had 3 pieces. Such cheap act by the staff in such a nice place degrades the whole place.

Tried the chicken club sandwich for the first time from mao had heard a lot about mao but must say i m highly dissapointed was served club sandwich with cutlets and despite after giving instructions for no chutney they put chutney in the sandwich highly dissappointed not ordering ever again highly not recomemded

My order is: 26052688, food was very salty, the second time that has happened within a month. I don't think I'm going to order from Mao (Andheri branch) again.

We had ordered from their app the delivery took 1.5-2 hours and this is not the 1st time it has happened. pathetic service something they should work on.

Had ordered their Seekh kepsa in my office. all those who ate the kepsa were feeling dizzy with me vomiting the whole thing out

Horrible place filled with uncouth people from the area. Really bad place. Nobody should go there.
