Chose Masala bay for a birthday lunch and the choice was absolutely right! The ambience, service & food, all top notch. For starters we had the special chicken drumstick kebab. The marination was really lip smacking & flavours had gone right deep until the bone. These were chargrilled to perfection & served with the perfect green chutney. For the mains we had butter chicken with laccha parantha & their special whole wheat khamiri roti. Butter chicken was really good. The right balance of flavours & seasoning. Gravy consistency was also just the way it should be. The rotis were exceptionally great! Esp the whole wheat khamiri topped with saunf & khus khus. A lunch absolutely worth every penny spent here. The servers were attentive & knowledgable. Since we were celebrating a birthday, they gave us a birthday cake complimentry which was just sooo heavenly & decadent. The meal ended with our favorite #MeethaPaan. Thank You team :)

We visited this place on 26th Feb 22. The staff was superb in its service. Since I was having an headache, the team was helpful to get me a medicine. Further, for our dinner, we ordered a biryani. It was well made and served with raita. Additionally, it was our anniversary, thus they also arranged for a cake. The cake again was best of its kind. This place was perfect choice for our special occasion.

Wow! Do yourself a favour and visit Masala Bay at the Taj Lands End . The food is delicious and the service genuine and caring. The staff truly went and beyond creating a special experience. I would like to especially call out Sachin, Swapnil, Kajat, Zohra, Akshay, and chef Sartaj Absolutely the best experience I’ve had while in India. Highly recommend!

We went there for my moms birthday and we ordered Murg tandoori , murg kabab something and butter chicken & tadhoori naan and lastly mutton biriyani and we loved all of it except the naan as it was too rubber type and hard to chew . But the complemetory. birthday cake was super yummy.

Great place , staff was good enough. Services were good . We were shifted from other restaurant to this and it was much better then the other one .

Tried the dal makhani, kofta, makhmali roti (which wasn’t on the menu, but was made-to-order by a private chef). The roti lived up to its name and was super soft and flavourful. The kofta could’ve been better. Dal makhani wasn’t extraordinary as I had expected it to be from my previous experiences at Taj hotels. The portion sizes, too, were unusually small. The staff was sweet enough to give us a free mini chocolate cake since we were celebrating a birthday- typical warm and hospitable Taj service!

The food was overpriced and had no taste. The waiter was clumsy and spilled water on the table. The options were also very limited.

I was looking for a replacement for Masala Kraft, Taj Mahal Palace (which apparently is temporarily closed) for a family dinner and thought that our experience from a similar sounding restaurant from Taj Hotel would be as good. I am absolutely disappointed with the service. We had to ask for menu after 15 minutes as no one seemed interested in serving us (even when others who came after us were being attended to). The seating was also cramped or may be we were seated at a place where it wasn’t very comfortable. The waiter just took order without even assisting with portion size and if the ordered dishes would be enough or go waste. We wasted most of what we ordered and felt bad because of it. The only saving grace was that the food was good. Paneer lifafa, lahori paneer, lehsooni palak and kulfi faluda were the stand out dishes for us. Am I going back to the place? Not if I have a say in deciding the venue of lunch/ dinner and definitely not if I have to pay for it.

This 1 star rating is only for the pricing. They charge 600 + 18% GST for all the rotis. This is daylight robbery. The food is nothing extraordinary, the ambience or service are good but not exceptional that we dont get anywhere else. Ridiculously priced menu
