First, let’s talk about the ambiance. The restaurant has a warm and inviting ambiance, with vibrant decor that reflects the rich cultural heritage of Maharashtra. It really sets the mood for a traditional dining experience. Now, let’s dive into the food. This thali is a true delight for vegetarians, offering a wide range of authentic Maharashtrian dishes. Starting with the appetizers, the Ulta Vada Pav is a must-try. The crispy vada placed on top of the soft pav makes for a unique and mouth-watering combination. Moving on to the main course, the Metkut Special Thali really steals the show. It is a wholesome thali that showcases the best of Maharashtrian cuisine. The bhakri made from jowar or millet is cooked to perfection and goes great with the delicious varan (lentils). The vegetables are cooked to perfection with the right balance of spices and freshness. And let's not forget about the Usal, a spicy and tangy sprout curry that adds a burst of flavour to the thali. The best part is at the end, the dessert. The Aam Ras Puri is a heavenly treat for mango lovers. The rich and creamy Aam Ras (mango pulp) with the soft and fluffy Puri is an absolute delight. It's the perfect sweet ending to a sumptuous meal. Overall, the Metkut Maharashtrian Thali is a culinary journey through the flavours of Maharashtra. The attention to detail, the authentic flavours, and the generous portions make it a must-visit for anyone craving a truly satisfying vegetarian meal. So, gather your friends and family, and visit Metkut for a memorable dining experience. Enjoy! 🌶️🍛🥭

A nice place with good food! Value for money and a must visit for someone looking for authentic Maharashtrian food. We havd the Garvan Thali and the Metkut Special Thali, 5 of us. Only downside was that some items were served cold, we had to return the chapati/Bhakri to get it fresh. Quality 4/5 Quantity 5/5 Ambience 4/5 Service 3/5 Taste 4/5 Location 4/5

This will be the first and last with Metkut, this time it was disappointing. We ordered thali there was no taste in Pitla no taste, dal was watery , no taste in tomato sev curry, rice was uncooked. It was complete heights, food was tasteless, uncooked.

Honestly, one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. The food was completely bland, the service painfully slow, and the staff seemed confused the entire time. I ordered Ratadyache Kees — it took 15 minutes to arrive, was served after the main course, and to top it all, it was stone cold. I had also ordered Nachni Papad, but what they served tasted like a regular potato papad. And here’s the part that really blew my mind — the plates were literally labelled “Regional Catering.” The glasses and vatis were copper, so I expected a proper, authentic metal plate experience. Instead, it felt like I was eating catering food inside a restaurant. If I wanted catering food, I’d just call a caterer at home. Metkut completely fails to deliver on authenticity, quality, and basic dining experience. Save yourself the disappointment and eat at Shravan Uphar Gruh instead — where the food is actually tasty and gives you true Maharashtrian vibes. 🔴 One last tip: Double-check your bill before paying — I had 1–2 items added that I never even ordered.

Today only I have ordered the upwas thali in that Piyush was missing as well as khichdi was missing. They have only placed so much of potato Kees instead of khichdi. Puri was totally hard to chew. The amount was totally unexpected for this kind of food. They should understand the fasting menu importance. Really regretted after ordering this.

in last month I ordered thali or meal combos on 3 to 4 occasions and every time food items like daal, bhaji and masale bhat were terribly salty. They should understand that overwhelmingly salty food is not only unpalatable but also hazardous for human health.

Disappointing Experience – Quality Has Dropped Drastically I have been a regular customer and always enjoyed their food. However, my recent visit was extremely disappointing. The quality and taste, which used to be excellent, have declined significantly.
