I had never actually been to this particular outlet of NB, but had ordered from here multiple times. With restaurants opening up now, I thought of going in for dining here and have that experience. Due to less foot count, AC section has been shut off currently, which was disappointing for us, because with scorching heat outside, we were really hoping to sit n relax in air conditioning while enjoying our meal. Nevertheless, we still decided to go ahead and dine in non AC section. The waiter staff was courteous and quick to respond for our orders. We started off with their papad churi and asked for chaach bottle. Papad churi was good in taste, but onion was burnt a bit too much, so could feel that odd taste in between. Chhach bottle was unavailable, so had to content with Chhach glasses. Then after for our main course, mushroom masala n butter rotis we chose. Mushroom masala was delicious, cooked in semi thick brown gravy, mushrooms cooked really well too and absorbed flavors of gravy. Chapatis went very well with that gravy, n what began as try out sabji turned out to be very good. To end off, we had ordered simplistic rice dish, dal khichdi, served with boondi raita n roasted papad. Khichdi was delicious too, served piping hot, nice crunchiness of rice granules intact, nice flavors to dal could be felt as we ate. The prices are not too high off the menu, so it's moderately affordable restaurant, given current situation, where almost all restaurants have hiked up prices post covid. Ambiance of the place is bit dim, if I can say so, but still it's ok, you don't feel trapped in dark overhead , while you seat. Overall, a good restaurant to have authentic veg meal, with budget pricing and they do serve jain as well as Chinese cuisine dishes. So, just make note of this too.
