Warm hospitality paired with an excellent menu and outstanding food quality. This has truly become my family’s go-to place for every occasion. The service levels were exceptional, and the Restaurant Manager, Gaurav Sawant, along with his team, took great care of us… especially my parents, ensuring their allergies were handled with utmost attention.

I had a wonderful time dining at nara.The wait staff were very polite and courteous. they dishes and drinks they recommended were in tune with what we wanted to have and they never interrupted our dinner every few minutes 😁 it is a little on the expensive side but an indulgence every once in awhile is allowed 😉

Visited Nara Thai for a dinner and had a mixed experience. The ambience is really nice—calm, elegant, and perfect for a relaxed evening. Service was decent and smooth, nothing to complain about there. Coming to the food, it was good but not that great. We tried dishes like Lotus Root Chips, Butterfly Pea Fried Rice, Red Curry with Tofu, and Spicy Raw Papaya Salad. Presentation was good, but taste-wise it didn’t fully stand out for the price. The highlight of the evening was definitely the cocktails! Yuzu & Passionfruit Spritz and Citrus Mirage were amazing—absolutely loved them and would highly recommend trying these. Overall, a beautiful place with great drinks, but food could be better. ⭐️ Ambience: 8/10 ⭐️ Service: 7/10 ⭐️ Food: 6/10 ⭐️ Cocktails: 9/10

This was my third visit to Nara Thai, and to be fair, the food has never disappointed. This time, unfortunately, the service did. We ordered four appetisers and a soup. From the moment we placed the soup order, there seemed to be some hesitation from the staff. The appetisers were served on time and we finished all of them, but the soup never arrived. We checked on it three times. Each time we were told it was almost ready and would be served in the next 2–3 minutes. After waiting for close to an hour, we finally cancelled the soup and asked to speak to the manager. That’s where it got more disappointing. Instead of a simple apology and ownership, the manager chose to defend the situation with explanations that didn’t quite add up. In the process, it became clear that the soup hadn’t even been started. At that point, we decided to ask for the bill and leave without ordering or eating the main course. It’s unfortunate, because the food quality remains strong. But service like this takes away from the overall experience.

Food was good and definitely the most close to authentic Thai food that I’ve had in Mumbai. Unfortunately the service wasn’t great. Despite mentioning in my booking that the occasion was for my mother’s birthday, they didn’t arrange for anything (what’s the point of asking this question in the bookings then?) and I had to buy an expensive cake from Yuatcha next door on short notice. Additionally, our server Priya wasn’t very attentive to our table, we had to keep seeking for her attention for ordering the next course or asking for the next course to be served. I understand that it was a busy weekday for the restaurant, but the resourcing of staff should have been better. I don’t think I’ll visit this branch of Nara again and will opt to try the Worli one and hope the service is better.

The food made me feel queer in the tummy since I am a healthy eater - on asking realised - fries were frozen, a lot of oil in all the food and that too seed oil - sunflower oil was being used. In a restaurant which has minimum bill 1000/- pp yet low quality is being served - rather posionous seed oil is being used - I had a bad tummy at night and in the next morning ! I regret not asking which oil they cook in before eating ! Work of months to detox the body gone into the drain ! Focus on only good ambience and cutlery and compromising on food quality !
