If you’re craving authentic CKP flavours with the freshest catch from the sea, this pure CKP restaurant is an absolute gem! From the very first bite, you can tell that the seafood here is not only fresh but cooked with the kind of homely love and traditional recipes that make CKP cuisine so special. The menu is a true delight for seafood lovers – every dish bursts with coastal flavours, perfectly balanced spices, and that unique CKP touch you don’t often find elsewhere. Whether it’s the fish fry, the prawns curry, or their signature crab preparation, each plate is a celebration of freshness and tradition. The ambience adds beautifully to the experience. Warm, welcoming. Overall, it’s not just a meal but an amazing dining experience – one that combines authenticity, quality, and hospitality.

Visited just before Gatari Sunday — as always, super crowded with over an hour wait (no reservations, be ready!). We reached at 1:30 PM, got seated by 3. Service: Friendly, efficient, kept the food coming despite the rush. Food Highlights: Prawns Thali: 5 prawns fry, curry, saar, pulao — truly satisfying. Surmai & Pomfret Thalis: Big fry, saar, rice, and bhakri. Starters: Prawns koliwada (crispy ✨), bombil fry (outside crisp, inside soft). ✅ Super fresh fish ✅ Flavour-packed meals ✅ Totally worth the wait Been here thrice, never disappointed. Can’t wait to try their CKP special menu next!

Kala mutton is melt in the mouth lip smacking finger licking great! Prawn hirwa masala is also yum. Thecha surmai was average and crab soup was good but had a tad bit extra pepper. Expect wait time but worth it.

Today noon I had chicken thali, taste was good, but the chicken pieces in sukka chicken had more bones than flesh. The other curry had one chicken neck piece. The satisfaction of eating chicken was thus not fulfilled.

Food quality needs to be improved. Suran kaap was sour, prawns were stale and stinky. No AC, standing fan that didn’t swing. Please improve.

Today we visited this restaurant at Vile Parle and were very disappointed with the food. Firstly when they brought the thali it had cockroach 🪳 running in the plate that was put before me. It was crawling on the plate. The fried bombils were not crispy they were flat and had NO TASTE AT ALL. The kala mutton gravy was so watery and much different from what we actually have in other restaurants. No taste at all. The prawns Ghee Roast...was nothing close to what the actual Ghee Roast dish tastes like.. GHEE was nowhere to be seen. YES LOTS OF curry leaves were there though. No taste at all. The Prawns Loncha was so watery and had a very strong flavour of mustard oil, again very disappointing. Their appams were good . Kharvas was ok. Think twice before planning to go to this restaurant.

I had been with my friends. Firstly there was a small cockroach in the empty thali which was brought to the table. My friends had non veg which was tasteless. I had veg food where the vatana sabji was half cooked. The vatana wouldn’t break! Daal was tasteless with no masala no tadka. Solkadi was very spicy. Baingan sabji was sweet. Rice was hard to chew. White Kidney beans sabji was cooked in non veg curry. The smell was distinct. A total waste of money. Most avoidable resto.

very pathetic food and service, they fool the customer for serving normal rice instead of indrayani rice as they mentioned in their menu, they don't concern about the customer complaint ,they need only money for pathetic food, plzz go for other restaurants , don't go for their publicity name....

Not even worth for one star. I have never eaten tasteless fish anywhere. We ordered Crab Soup, Bombil fry, Surmai Thali and Prawns Thali. Except for prawns Pulao or Prawns Biryani, which was served with Prawns Thali, nothing was worth spending money and time.
