We began the afternoon exploring Neuma’s signature cocktail program, which truly sets the tone for the experience. A few standout drinks that are absolutely worth trying include: * Isla Vu — A bold and complex blend of Talisker and toasted bread-infused Jim Beam Black, lifted beautifully with fresh Malta orange juice. The drink delivers a layered balance of smoky depth and vibrant citrus notes. * Canterbury Summer — Light, floral, and refreshingly elegant. Elderflower and orange blossom come together with sparkling water to create a crisp sip that feels perfect for a relaxed brunch setting. * Dinner with Francesca — A sophisticated cocktail crafted with Tanqueray Gin and Vermouth Bianco, elevated with Italian lemon peels and a delicate touch of extra virgin olive oil. Visuals 9.7/10 | Flavors 6/10 There’s something about the way this space is lit that makes the entire evening feel effortless and elegant. While the Asian flavors felt like a familiar script we’ve all read before, the hospitality was the real standout. A huge shoutout to the manager and the team for such warm, attentive service.

Exceptional space. A modern contemporary restaurant in a restored bungalow in Colaba. It has themed areas each one unique in its own way. The bar is absolutely stunning serving some brilliant cocktails. The staff is very friendly and fully aware. The bar sets the tone for the night.

Good location with decent interiors, but nothing exceptional. The pricing is quite steep for the small portion sizes offered. Overall, an okay experience, but doesn’t justify the cost.

So we had this really lousy experience at Neuma & I am quite shocked a fine dine place behaves like this. We had made the booking a week in advance & as is the norm with many dinner places now, had paid the Rs 500 per person for the reservation. We reached there around 7.15pm. Only to be told they weren’t available for dinner till 8.30pm because they had a private party going on. They refused to accept we had a booking for 7.30pm - seems didn’t show up in their system. My friend that had made the booking noticed the person’s badge - Moushumi and said we spoke so many times! She then showed the WA message & they realised we were right but initially kept saying couldn’t do much. Eventually someone there - one Mr. Deepak seemed to indicate they could take us in & so they said you could sit upstairs. It was our first visit there & so didn’t realise it was actually not Neuma but Ojus. They didn’t bother checking if we were ok to be in a different restaurant. Once seated, they promptly moved the fourth cover without checking - our 4th friend was on the way. When we pointed out they brought it back. I had said we did want to speak to the manager about what had happened. He then comes by to say we will also get you food from Neuma. It immediately hit me we were in Ojus. We left the place - we had to ask for our money to be refunded as they didn’t offer it voluntarily (tho gave it asap on being asked). Needless to say it was a lousy start to an evening. (We managed to get a table at Across in Kala Ghoda and thankfully ended up having a lovely time).
