In one word new modern cafe is nothing but a CLASS. I have been visiting this place since my school days and apart from the interior nothing is changed, the taste and legacy are maintained as it is. If you ask me what you try at the new modern cafe, I would suggest try every Indian item on their menu, especially the south Indian items. My personal favourite is Rawa masala dosa, masala uttapam, mysore masala dosa, matar paneer, paneer makkhanwala and veg kolhapuri. In Chinese always go for the triple schezwan rice. Even you can try their pav bhaji and masala pav. The new modern cafe has been one of the iconic food places in Dombivli and as I said the legacy and taste remains the same over the years.

This hotel is in Dombivali and is nearby the station. They serve Punjabi dishes,Chinese and much more. I ordered Paneer tikka masala and Kulcha it was tasty and was served with pickle.

The food is good,the restraunt is clean but the only thing not up to the mark was the staff the staff is polite but not responsive.The time took to prepare a meal was too long but the food tastes gud with a clean presentation

Modern cafe's food is good in taste but as per the rate the quantity was less . The seating arrangement was also nice . It is good for families to go . The rate is too high . The service was also slow .

food taste was ok but the service was very slow. they brought misal pav instead of masala pav after more tha 25mins. the plates were smelly.the wash basins were dirty.. they have to put in more efforts to maintain the fame they have

Visited Modern Café, Dombivli (near Station Road) with my family to relive some childhood memories and enjoy the taste I remembered from my school days. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. We ordered Tawa Pulav and found a fly in the food. We immediately informed the staff and manager. While they quietly removed the item from the bill, there was no proper acknowledgement, apology, or explanation regarding the incident. Instead, it felt like the focus was on closing the matter quickly and having us leave. As one of Dombivli's oldest and most reputed eateries, I expected a more responsible response, especially regarding food hygiene and customer concerns. This visit, which was meant to be nostalgic, ended up being quite disappointing.

I ordered online and they sent stale Dahi Vada. I called to enquire related to the same but restaurant people were irresponsible of providing proper resolution and told to contact the online partner. Never purchase Dahi Vada from here, I had food poisoning as well. Horrible experience.

The dosa was not at all crispy being a Rava Dosa, The masala no taste with so huge chunks of aalu Chutney was tasteless with no salt Nothing good about sambhar
