It was a kinda Mumbai exploring day for us and in search of speciality dishes, me, my wife and my brother-in-law reached a place famous for its dish by film actor Sanjay Dutt. Location: 3/5 The restaurant is located right on the busy streets of Mohammad Ali road. Reaching there itself was a nightmare, that too in a car. But it's not at all difficult to find the restaurant, given its perfect Google location and huge hoarding. Parking: 1/5 Driving an SUV to the busy streets of bhindi bazar was a mistake, but I had no other option. If you are going to make the same mistake as me, make sure you start searching for the parking atleast 1 km prior to the restaurant. I was somehow lucky to find one around 200m away. But it was not my car that was parked, but it was my heart that was parked there and sadly someone had scratched it when I came back. First impression and ambience: 2/5 The restaurant is typical old Mumbai types. Do not expect any cozy ambience or spacious interiors there. Its just a small shop filled with lots of people and hustle here and there. Thankfully it had an AC. Price, menu and taste: 10/5 The rating I mentioned for food might force you to think that it's a error from my end. But it's not. The food is beyond the best. We started with the famous one, Chicken Sanju Baba with a butter roti. The taste was just good. Nothing extraordinary. The quantity was sufficient for one, but we were two. So we ordered another unusual dish from the menu, Chicken Hakimi. Mark my words, and I swear to God, I have never ever tasted anything like this ever before in my life. The chicken was soft, but the main attention seeker was it's curry. Fully drenched in butter, this gravy was something out of the world. The first bite of this gravy made both of us pause our breath for few moments, enjoy the heavens and come back to earth. I remember we didn't utter a word untill the dish was over. The dish was a true definition of 'foodgasm'. On the veg side, my wife had ordered Dal Ghee, which was the only sober option for her. But the dal too, was heavily enriched with ghee. And was one of the best dals I ever tasted. Truly a wonder. Price is not too high, and menu is not too elaborate. Service: 5/5 Service is very prompt. The staff was sufficiently kind. Payment: 2/5 Taste the heaven, but only on cash. Conclusion: 5/5 Get on a local train, carry cash, and get into this restaurant. You will have one of the best lunch/dinner of your life. Total bill: Rs. 660 for three Offer applied: LOL, what's that Payable amount: Rs. 660

Visited this place after years and had a good experience. The place was full during our lunch visit, luckily we got a table at their upper level dining room. The ambiance here was pretty basic, unlike the dining hall downstairs. Ordered the Special Chicken Hakimi, Haleem, Butter naan and seekh kabab. Food took quite long to be served, the same was the case with other tables. The seekh kabab was not that great, a very different texture and taste than a seekh kabab. The meat was not soft and the outer covering of seekh had become crisp and tough slightly. The haleem was decent, too much of ghee but lacked a bit of spice. But the chicken hakimi and the butter naan were just perfect. The special hakimi was so delicious and full of flavours. Even with the amount of butter in it, you could still taste and enjoy the chicken and it's masala. The naan was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Glad this didn't disappoint. Servers were attentive but service could be faster. Good portion size and pricing is decent too, not expensive. Ambiance - 3.5/5 Service - 3.5/5 Food Quality/ Presentation - 4.5/5 Taste - 4/5 Portion size - 4.5/5 Value for money - 4/5

i visited this place after watching so many celebrity vdos and youtube food blogs. The best thing is their prices and the worst thing is their hygiene. The man at the counter who was chewing some gutkha or something and he was literally gargling in the counter drawer. i don't know if he has put something inside the drawer but it was damn pathetic even to watch. he could have used sink or washroom but i think he felt drawer is right place tb gargle in front of the customer who is eating. this place is not hygienic at all

I ordered Chicken Tikka Hakimi among other things, which was priced at ₹280+GST. However the size of chicken pieces were smaller than the ice cubes. The taste was also very basic and nothing like a tikka that you would have. Kulhad rabdi is another item I had ordered which was priced at ₹75+GST. Same thing you get outside at half of the price. Additionally the waiter was not interested too, I had to call for him multiple times for simple things like getting the table cleaned. Considering the pricing the experience and food was less than bare minimum. There are other good options in this price range with better service and food.

I’m posting this review after a while we had visited to the restaurant as we had also dined in and took a takeaway the dine-in food was good up to the mark by the turnoff was the Nihari that we took as a takeaway it was just super sour god knows why it’s not at all suppose to be like that very disappointed with that experience it was soo sour felt like 10 lemons squeezed at once in just one portion very bad experience on their part .🥲🥲

I had an utterly disappointing experience with Noor Mohammadi Hotel Kurla. Despite ordering an Iftar box well in advance, it arrived late, completely missing Iftar, despite multiple follow-ups. To add insult to injury, they had the audacity to charge a whopping 300 rupees for delivery. The food itself was a disgrace. Not only was it cold upon arrival, but the quality was abysmal. The so-called sweet firni was nothing but cheap white flour (maida) instead of the mawa, rendering it inedible. Every item in the box was devoid of flavor, leaving a bitter taste in my mouth, both figuratively and literally. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this establishment at all costs. It’s simply not worth the time, money, or frustration.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Noor Mohammadi Hotel. I ordered the Beef Nahari, expecting the rich, flavorful gravy typical of this dish, but instead, I received something that was more akin to a bland Korma, with no resemblance to authentic Nahari whatsoever. Additionally, the quality of their famed Sanju Baba Chicken has drastically deteriorated. It no longer has the same taste or appeal that it once did. The food quality at this restaurant has clearly degraded, and it's unfortunate to see such a decline in standards. I hope the management takes note and works on restoring the food quality to its previous levels. Very poor value for what you are paying.
