Went for Poila Baisakh Buffet Dinner. Food was nice. The place was super crowded and thus service was a little slow.

The Fish Curry was not that great as we thought of, it is more like tasteless with all sorts of Desi masala. The Mutton Biriyani was good and tasty 😋

I went for lunch with my family and had a really disappointing experience. The starters were more or less okay but the pressure cooker mutton and the daab chingri were simply awful. You can hardly call those preparations bengali as the cook had ruined the food by making them excessively sweet. The illish was so damn expensive but the taste and quality were not at all justifiable. Even the mocktails were served in smaller glasses. The only thing I liked was the gurere ice cream. The Andheri outlet is far better.

We called the restaurant before visiting it and enquired specifically regarding the buffet listed for Oh Calcutta. We were informed that the same is available. I crosschecked with them if the Zomato offer is valid on the buffet. They mentioned that whatever we consume we can utilize the Zomato offer at payment. Now once I have travelled all the way from Mumbai to Vashi, their staff express shock when asked for the buffet. Mentioning that they don't even have a buffet. Their listing is dubious and the staff purposefully misguided us. This place is avoidable.

If bad food had a name, it is Oh calcutta. Ordered mutton railway curry and must say chef has no clue how to cook mutton. The food was so bad that couldn’t finish one of my favorite delicacy like mutton curry. This is not the first time oh Calcutta served tasteless food. Had ordered mutton kasha in last visit and it was equally bad. Just because of my love for Bengali food, I revisited this place inspite of previous experience being bad. Never falling in this trap again. Total waste of time and money

Went there for nabami lunch. Just upon entering, I was given a feeling as if I have to complete the food asap. Without even asking whether I am comfortable with the kind of starter they literally dumped all the starter on my plate. They kept us waiting for rice, luchi and fries. Even deliberately they did not serve several starters. I will never recommend or visit again.

Could not serve starter (aaloo bhaja and begun bhaja, potato and eggplant fritters) in 45 mins. Took them half an hour to just serve drinks and even after 45 mins they could not give us an eta for the food. Would not suggest coming here at all.
