We had an amazing time at Opa Kipos today enjoying a delicious veg gyro—which was like a Greek falafel in a soft shell taco—along with hospitality, a lively chef show, and a wonderful ambience.

Opa feels like more than just a restaurant. From the moment you enter, it genuinely feels like you’ve stepped out of Mumbai, which makes the whole experience quite special. The ambience, energy and live dancing make it a really unique place, and I’d definitely go back for the experience. The food, however, wasn’t quite for me. I understand that the menu is rooted in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavours, but I found the flavours and portions a little difficult for my palate. I’d personally go here more for the experience than the food. It’s a beautiful place to take friends or someone visiting Mumbai for the first time. I just wish the food matched the experience a little better.

The place was dead with barely 2 tables being occupied. They usually have come event/celebrations for which the place is apparently famous for but since there was no crowd they decide to not do it. The place is extremely overpriced but if they would have the plate smashing and some other activities it could have maybe felt worth the hype. Disappointed with the experience. On the contrary there will be a photographer constantly filming you and post stories on their page to look like the place is lively while actually it was pretty dead.
