While the food we ordered was exceptionally good (the pork belly starter, the shrimp tacos, the duck mole) and the cocktails were delicious (the spicy margarita and the apple margarita), what really made our night at Otra a flawless one was the service. Not only did they make us a fresh portion of our pork belly (since us being out on a smoke break resulted in our original portion getting cold), but they immediately switched our table when we pointed out the leaky Aircon, and comped our (delicious) dessert of churros after. All in all, a perfect night. Would highly recommend Otra to any fans of South American cuisine.

My husband and I went to Otra over the weekend without a reservation and decided to try our luck. We started at the standing bar and were later given a table—so glad we waited! Meemai, our server, was fantastic. Every dish he recommended was spot on. We loved the chipotle cauliflower tacos, pork belly, duck mole, and quesadilla—each dish was excellent. For dessert, we had the tiramisu and were treated to a complimentary rice pudding, which was absolutely delicious. We had a lovely evening and will definitely be back soon.

I wonder why is this place not much spoken of? Such a gem❤️ Manas (our server at the table) you were amazing with your recommendations the graph kept on going up. The chef gave us a tour of the kitchen and fridge - the ingredients were one of a kind never ever seen in India before - so fresh and blending seamlessly with each other. And oh the highlight was the Rum ice cream🥹🥹🥹🥹 (TMI - I didn’t brush my teeth before bed so that I can savour its flavour for as long as I could)

What an amazing comeback! Such a lovely menu — super delicious, and this time with so many vegetarian options, unlike the last visit. Each dish was thoughtfully curated and beautifully presented. The hospitality was beyond words — truly exceptional. Well done to the entire team, and most importantly — keep it up!

Visited Otra on a weekday for dinner. Reservation is recommended. I had the Al pastor tacos, Quesadilla, duck mole, sizzling rice chaufa and the churros. All the items were delicious, however I would have loved a little spicy punch to them as none of them were as hot as Mexican food should be. I’ll suggest them to provide some habanero salsa on the side incase if anyone wants their food to be spicy. The portion sizes are just enough for 2 people. Pricing is similar to Americano, around 1500-1800 per person. The menu is small and not suitable for larger groups. Service was excellent. Overall my experience was good and I’ll be back soon.

I was very excited to eat at Otra especially when I got to know that it was from the same chef as Americano, but hugely disappointed with the food & service staff We ordered salsa chips which was okay nothing outstanding Then we ordered tostada with Avacado & tuna - that was good, infact the best amongst all The tacos again was ordinary, not much flavor, the taste did not linger at all Lastly we ordered a duck dish which was horrible I would like to erase that memory The service staff we felt had no idea about anything on the menu. Fairly average and overrated

I wanted to share our extreme disappointment with the experience at Otra last night. I had booked this table a week ago for my wife’s birthday, clearly informing in advance about her dietary restriction of no onions. Despite this, there were virtually no vegetarian, onion-free options available to her, and she left hungry on her birthday — something completely unacceptable for any restaurant, let alone one positioning itself at your level. Additionally, we deliberately chose the 10PM table to avoid any timing issues, but your team wasn’t ready. Half the table was still occupied by a walk-in group being served mains post-10PM, and my wife and her guests had to chase your staff repeatedly for almost 25 minutes to even get seated. Even then, once they finally got a table, half the guests had to stand and wait while tables were re-arranged midway through the dinner. This kind of unprofessionalism — on a pre-booked special occasion, after spending significant amounts on food and drinks — is shocking. We deeply regret choosing Otra for a night that was meant to be special. Really unfortunate experience.
