Their solkadi is a must try. It is on the strong and tangy side but the flavor is very authentic. Kokam sarbat was a bit too sweet for my taste. I tried other items such as farali pattice and kothimbir vadi which were definitely unique, and the flavored curd they are served with is unique as well. I liked them and would recommend trying. The location is very conveniently accessible from Dadar station, but do not bring your vehicle here as there is no parking. Food is served fast but the waiters are a little slow to take orders and not the most polite. Prices are reasonable.

Panshikar is one of my favorite shops and also it is my family's favorite place. Be it just a visit to Dadar or being it to go for shopping for any festivals or occasions, Panshikar is always the place that me and my family members opt for when it comes to buying sweets and snacks in Dadar. I would recommend everyone this place who wants to try out the best Maharashtrian food in a quiet affordable price. Be it their Shrikhand, pedas or other snacks, they are fresh, tasty and always the best. The quality, quantity, hygiene is upto the mark. Overall it is a very good place.

Not a Maharashtrain and not Exposed to the taste of Marthi Food - yet amazed how soulful that I tried at Panshikar Tastes - Pure, Homely, Fresh & Honest. Do try their Solkadi, Puneri Misal, KotMir Vadi & Thalipeth ! Obviously Sweets should not be missed.

Best place for traditional Marathi food. The ambience and restaurant is a bit shabby compared to other outlets but this place scores really well for the food.

One of the best places in the city to eat authentic Maharashtrian cuisine. Order from or eat in, you will not be disappointed. Every item on their menu is superb!

Panshikar is located in Dadar side where basically markets are placed.. This brand was far old from 1950s. Pedas and barfis are the best here withsome amazing sonkadi in this shop..

Visited this shop on 10th Dec 2019. They fool you by giving you a pamphlet when you visit the original panshikar which is on N.C. Kelkar road, saying the shop has moved inside. Extremely bad quality of sweets. You can see fungus and mould growing on 3 day old mithai. When I confronted them about this, the owner started abusing me. Would suggest people to think twice before buying anything from this shop. They are trying to use the goodwill generated by old panshikar to their own advantage. Further they entice customers by giving 10% discount to sell their rotting products. Please see attached images for your information.

it's too costly and niat even match the taste of any local Vada pav in Mumbai. The behaviour of waiter is rude. One line is perfect for them. " Naam bade aur darshan chhote." Panshikar Dadar West outlet.
