I visited this restaurant in Seawoods as I was in the mood for a quick south indian snack meal. This was my second visit to this restaurant. I quickly went through the menu and ordered rava masala dosa. We have the option of having it cooked in either butter or ghee and I chose ghee. The dosa came in about 10 mins. It was accompanied by sambar, red chutney and coconut chutney. The dosa was delicious to the core with a good amount of masala. It was cooked in a lot of ghee and from the taste of it, I could make out the ghee was of good quality. Sambar was simple and tasty and not at all sweet, which is typically the case in a lot of restaurants. Both the chutneys were lipsmacking and really fresh. You can have as much sambar and chutney at this restaurant as you want. The only downside to having a meal at this restaurant is they don't give a proper bill. PS: don't take your car if you want to visit this restaurant because parking is an absolute nightmare

Located opposite Seawoods Station / SGC, Hotel Paravathi is always crowded with people. I visited the place with a friend to explore their food. We ordered a Medu Wada Idli Mix, Rawa Masala Dosa and Onion Maysore Dosa. All the three items were excellent, fresh and piping hot. Starting with the Wada and Idli, they were very soft, the batter was very balanced. The Rawa Masala Dosa was nice and crispy topped with potato bhaaji. The Onion Maysore Dosa had a good spread of the red chutney and roughly chopped onion. The dishes came with super tasty, hot sambar which was unlimited, the coconut chutney had pure coconut and a spicy red tomato chutney. Strange thing we noticed: they didn't give a bill.

The sambar was not that great compared to other south Indian sambars i had. The chutney was better. The most tasty was the mendu Vada. It was soft and crispy. We ordered paneer masala dosa, it did not have the taste of sabzi, it was bland...the food was hot so it was okay. It was like something was missing. Overall the food was okay, the place was decent.

My husband & I often go to this restaurant but on 04/17/2023 morning, we went as always... The spicy chutney (red-orangish) had gone bad... With one taste I could identify that it was old not fresh... Me & my husband are having severe headache and stomach ache... We are puking since... Just a small suggestion, before you start serving, I would suggest the owner to try it.
