We visited the OG Persian Darbar which is about to complete fifty years the ambience of this place is just amazing. With five beautifully yet differently crafted floors, this place is literally a 5 minutes walk from Byculla Station. The food was really delicious. Here’s what all we hogged: Chicken Zaffrani Tikka Perfectly grilled tender chicken that was aromatic and so flavourful. Prawns Dynamite Crispy prawns tossed in a creamy and spicy dynamite sauce. It was a crunchy first bite and a smooth second. Kung Pao Chicken We wanted a hint of chinese starter as well so went with Kung Pao. Chicken coated with spicy, nutty, slightly sweet sauce that was delicious. Chicken Kadai with Butter Naan (Recommended) The best dish hands down. Recommended by their staff, we went with Chicken Kadai paired with soft, buttery naan which literally just melted into the gravy. Craveworthy and tasty till the last bite. Mutton Biryani Dum cooked biryani with soft mutton pieces and that signature Persian Darbar fragrance, quite a satisfying meal. For Mocktails, we had Blue Lagoon that Refreshing and citrusy alongside Lemon Mojito that was both minty and fizzy. Overall, Persian Darbar continues to prove why it’s an all-time favourite for Mughlai food. And whether you dine in or order via Zomato, Swiggy, or their takeaway service, the quality stays consistent. They have so many dining options from small dastarkhans for a family of four to big ones with 20+ people. You will be spoilt for choices we bet.

Persian Darbar, Byculla...is a total Mughlai delight. The place is decked out with traditional décor and soothing vibes, making you feel like you’ve stepped into a royal court. The pastel lighting and artistic wallpapers add a cozy yet upscale feel.Staff are super polite and quick on their feet. Even if the place gets packed, the crew hustles to keep tables clean and orders moving. Let's talk on food We tried thier chicken sholay kebab and chicken chicken dilkhush kebab as a starter and both are super tempting and perfectly cooked with minimal spices. In main course we tried thier chicken peshawari with butter naan, rumali roti and tandoori roti a perfect combo.also had jeera rice with this gravy tastes so yummy In refreshment we order virgin mojito and blueberry mocktails. At the end order their honeymoon special dessert which have our heart This includes butter scotch ice cream lots of healthy fruits and topped with jelly.must try it guys Overall, Persian Darbar delivers a memorable dining experience—perfect for family gatherings, office dinners, or a weekend treat. Highly recommended

The Dilwale Dawat at Persian Darbar Byculla was a fantastic experience! The Biryani was absolutely stellar—truly authentic in its style with perfectly cooked, fragrant long-grain rice and tender, flavorful meat. A must-try for any Mughlai food lover!

Persian Darbar's Chicken tikka Kepsa Biryani is a showstopper! We cannot stop raving about its rich flavor and generous portions. The biryani is cooked to perfection, with tender chicken and aromatic spices that will leave you wanting more Authentic Mughlai flavor- The dish is a masterclass in traditional Indian cuisine, with a blend of spices and herbs that will transport you to the royal courts of the Mughal Empire. The chicken is cooked to perfection, making it a delight to eat. Also had caramel custard and mutton kebabs. It had perfect texture and dessert was mild Sweet wanting more.

Disappointment alert! The food they are serving now is below average. I think these are the perks of being a renowned mughlai restaurant and they are reaping the benefits of their old reputation. They are in dire need of improving the taste and experience for guests, they are serving Dal Gosht which is not at all dal gosht , barra chaap with literally just pouring fresh cream on top of small sized chops(for 1290/- for 4pcs they are tooo small), being a mughlai restaurant they shouldn't be fooling guests by calling that barra , don't expect being given recommendations from the attendant as well. The only better than average thing is paya soup , others are all a sham, and I have tried a considerable of items from their menu to know what they have in store. Overall, it's an over-expensive place for below average food, you can get better for your moneys' worth at other places. You can skip this one , especially if you are with family, you don't want to ruin that family time and mood with their food and that bill you'll be footing for that below average experience will be more disappointing.

We visited the Persian Darbar Byculla branch today, and the experience was extremely disappointing. Midway through our meal, a cockroach crawled out from under our table. As we looked around, we noticed more cockroaches on the walls and several coming out from beneath the table. It was extremely unhygienic and disturbing. This completely ruined our dining experience and raises serious concerns about hygiene and food safety standards. We will not be visiting any Persian Darbar outlet again.

Order mutton kheema. Quantity is less than half the promised qty stated. 30% of the dish is drenched in oil; took 10min to separate the oil. Specifically requested to avoid green peas in kheema but still included them heavily. Kheema was mostly mutton fat with no mutton chunks; not even sure if it was mutton kheema as there was no taste of mutton. Highly disappointing. Surely recommend to keep this as the last option.

services is worst and staff talking behaviour is very rude. I ordered one starter, but the service is so late. after 30 minutes, the order came whenever I was dead, my hungers.
