An unforgettable Thai brunch experience that truly transported us straight to the bustling streets of Bangkok 🇹🇭✨ We recently attended the Tuk Tuk Tales pop-up at Plate & Pint curated by the incredibly talented Chef Akanksha Saigal, and every single dish on the menu reflected her passion, creativity, and deep understanding of authentic Thai flavours. We went as a group of friends for brunch, and honestly, it turned into one of those meals where every plate sparks conversation, every bite feels memorable, and time just flies by over great food and even better company. The vibe at Plate & Pint added so much warmth to the experience — lively, cozy, vibrant, and perfect for a long indulgent afternoon. The meal began with the Mango & Avocado Ceviche — incredibly fresh, bright, and beautifully balanced with chilli, lime, cilantro, green apple, and crispy shallots adding layers of texture and zing. A refreshing start that instantly awakened the palate. The Crispy Potato Stacks were an absolute standout. Perfectly crisp with rich green curry notes, aromatic fried basil, chilli crackling, and toasted herb rice bringing together comfort and complexity in every bite. The Gai Yang Thai BBQ Chicken was beautifully charred and deeply flavourful, paired wonderfully with pickled cucumber, pickled chilli, and a delicious dipping sauce that elevated the smokiness of the chicken. The Spicy Tamarind Glaze dishes were another highlight. Both the cottage cheese and pork belly versions were packed with bold sweet spicy flavours and had that addictive Thai style balance that keeps you reaching for another bite. For mains, the Holy Basil Stir Fry was pure comfort food done right. Fragrant basil, juicy chicken, cucumber, fluffy rice, and a fried egg made this dish hearty, satisfying, and incredibly soulful. The Tom Yum Hot Pot was bursting with authentic Thai aromatics — lemongrass, galangal, lime leaf — with the prawns soaking beautifully in the deeply comforting broth. Warm, sharp, spicy, and layered with flavour. And of course, no Thai meal feels complete without a great Pad Thai, and this one absolutely delivered. Perfectly cooked rice noodles coated in tamarind sauce with chicken, bean sprouts, and peanuts creating the ideal balance of sweet, savoury, nutty, and tangy flavours. Dessert was the perfect finale — Mango Sticky Rice with tender coconut ice cream. Rich, fragrant, comforting, and tropical all at once. Easily one of the best versions we’ve had in Mumbai. The cocktails were equally thoughtful and fun, especially the Thai Chilli Guava Michelada and Mango Chilli White Wine Spritz, which paired beautifully with the food and added another vibrant layer to the entire experience. Huge compliments to Chef Akanksha for creating such a well executed pop-up that didn’t just serve food, but genuinely told a story through flavours. Every dish felt curated with heart and authenticity. Thank you for inviting us and giving us such a memorable afternoon filled with laughter, amazing conversations, delicious food, and beautiful hospitality. Experiences like these are exactly why food brings people together so effortlessly. Already looking forward to the next one ❤️

An absolute hidden gem in Breach Candy where there is a serious dearth of good eateries. Everything on the menu is worth a try. The Kerala B**f Chilli Fry is stunning. One bite and you’ll be transported to Kerala for sure. Needs to be added to the permanent menu. Highly recommend this place.

It’s a wonderful place and the food is very good . Service needs to be worked on a bit. I visited with my mom n daughter and had a great time. We ordered French fries, pizza, mac n cheese and ravioli. All were very good! Their cheese straws from the bakery are very delicious! Must try!!

If you want to feel humiliated and cheated, you can visit this restaurant. I recently visited a well-known restaurant in Kemps Corner and ordered a cheese croissant. However, I was served a plain croissant with a very minimal cheese topping, which felt misleading as I was charged for a cheese croissant. When I brought it to the server’s attention, he politely acknowledged the issue and noted that the croissants are prepared in the morning, so he didn’t have much insight into the preparation. However, the manager, Mr. Joe, responded with a straight face, insisting that this is how they serve a cheese croissant – without any cheese stuffed inside and with a negligible amount on top. I found this extremely disappointing, especially from such a reputed brand.
