Had a wonderful experience at Poetry by Love & Cheesecake. The ambience was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the overall service was excellent. A special mention to Tanish for being extremely courteous, attentive, and warm throughout our visit. He made us feel very comfortable and ensured everything was perfect. Truly appreciated his hospitality. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

Poetry ❤️ has a small piece of my heart. Located nearest to the churchgate station, very easy to reach out. We had nachos, lotus biscoff shake, red sauce pasta and chicken club sandwich. Sandwich and lots biscoff shake was great and must try 10/10 !!!

Kids loved the cheese cake scoop especially the strawberry one. We had the butter chicken quesadilla which was fine. Overall a great experience.

We ended up visiting this place twice in the span of 24 hours!! 😍🤣 Yup! My beloved partner and I both love Poetry a lot! This outlet being right opposite Churchgate station makes it a great spot to eat, drink, chill! The ambience is cozy, the staff is pretty chill, not bothering you and letting you be, but still active in helping you have a great experience. I loved the minimal interiors, but the place is still so instagramable! I think it's the sunlight pouring in through the glass which creates magic! They do have a couple of tables upstairs but I am not sure if they service those. If they do, it'll be like your own personal dining space! We tried their CHICKEN POCKET the first time we visited and it was FANTASTIC! Like literal chef-kiss! The chicken steak was flavourful and had the perfect texture. The sauce it was made in was perfect and the side of mashed potatoes and salad made it taste even better! If that was the only experience I had here I'd give them a 5/5 without a second thought. But perhaps it was this very experience which doomed it's fate because it made my expectations go up and they were not really met the next day! 🥺 We started with their ENGLISH BREAKFAST. Yes it was good, but nothing outstanding. Later we even realised that it was missing hash browns! Then came in the CRISPY CHICKEN AVOCADO TACOS. The tacos were themselves soft and the chicken was not crispy at all. Plus the base of jalapenos added a spicy-kick to the dish. No doubt, both these dishes were tasty, yes. But they just didn't compare to yesterday's chicken pocket! And the fact that I am still paying the same amount of money for it was bothering me! STRAWBERRY BASIL FIZZ was a nightmare! They don't have any right to call it 'fizz' cause it had none! The first time it came to the table it tasted bad, and we thought maybe because it's not cold enough. Even after refrigerating it for an hour it still tasted bad! That's around 300 bucks down the drain! Next was GOCHUJANG STIR FRIED CHICKEN with a side of rice. Now I love GOCHUJANG because it's sweet and spicy. This was just spicy! And it was supposed to come with a side of herbed rice, which it did, but it was just impossible to have it without the rice! This dish too broke my heart! Finally I ordered their LORRAINE QUICHE, which was too cold the first time it was served and then too hot when reheated. I really wanted to end the meal with a dessert but the experience was so bad that I simply wanted to dump the food in my mouth (so as to not waste it, it wasn't inedible!) and leave the place. I still don't understand was it my own expectations that ruined the experience or was the food actually overpriced? Guess I'll never know! Happy Burping!!!

we ordered tomato basil soup. it was comforting, the goat cheese strawberry sourdough was nice strawberry pancakes could be much better. according to the prices charged, portions sizes are very small. not satisfying. its a cute cafe. but quite expensive. service is good. staff is friendly . next to it so many other reasonable good places have opened.

Walked in on a holiday morning with 1 other table occupied. Waited 25mins for the fresh juice ordered and another 30mins for the food - after multiple reminders to the staff. Both food items ordered were not hopeless - poached eggs were firm and pancakes were super dense and not great at all. Not coming back again for sure.

I found a cockroach in my coffee, the staff barely cared about the situation. ruined my breakfast. 0 hygiene followed. WILL NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL. please skip this location.
