Service was good but food wasn’t that great this time.. chicken was hard like a rock.. we had ordered 2 sizzler.. second sizzler couldn’t be changed.. they tried cooking 1st sizzler chicken makhani again but still it was not that great.. Also no restaurant charges service tax it’s illegal still it was added on my bill.. I had to tell them to remove it.. why to be unnecessary greedy when you guys know the rules.. we as a customer are already paying u other tax and food bill.. why to add additional stuff.. visitors can pay separately if they want to. I had been to malad Poptales last month they didn’t not do all this.. infact they had a free pastry offer going on.. n food quality was amazing..

We visited Pop Tates located opposite Infinity Mall in Andheri West for an early weekday dinner just before Diwali. The restaurant is on the first floor of the building, and the seating area is quite spacious. The ambience felt a bit on the darker side. I feel the theme itself is dark, which personally did not work very well for me during the meal. They also have a bakery section near the dining area where they showcase cakes, pastries, and other baked items. To start with, we ordered a Guava Mocktail and a Strawberry Mint Sparkle. The guava mocktail was refreshing, while the Strawberry Mint Sparkle was okayish. A few people also ordered Breezer, which was nice. For starters, we ordered Green Chicken Tikka. While placing the order, I had specifically asked the server if it was a tandoor preparation and was told yes. However, what was served felt more like fried chicken tikka, which was disappointing and not very appetizing. We also ordered Drums of Heaven. The gravy was flavourful, and the chicken tasted fresh. The Paneer Chilli was good. For the main course, we ordered Chicken Biryani and Veg Sizzlers. The chicken biryani was okayish. The chicken flavour felt lacking, and it felt more like rice mixed with gravy rather than a properly cooked biryani. The Veg Sizzlers were great and clearly stood out among the main course dishes. The service was a bit slow, and we had to call the staff multiple times even though it was a weekday evening. Considering the price we paid, I felt the quality and quantity of the food could be improved. Ratings: Quality – 3.8/5 Quantity – 3.5/5 Service – 3.5/5 Price – ₹6000 for 7 people

the service if the waiter was quite bad later. we had to repeatedly call him to bring the bill after which we paid. We wanted a part of the item packed which we told the waiter, however it took so long that we just left without the item as he was not to be seen as well as others were not available. too bad

They make excuses for home delivery...Very strange....for a restaurant that's open all day...home delivery starts after 7.30 pm
