My experience with Zomato yesterday was extremely disappointing. I placed an order on 26 August, and the food was picked up from the restaurant at around 8:30 PM. However, the delivery partner took more than an hour to deliver it, and the food finally arrived at around 9:35 PM, completely cold and soggy. What was even more frustrating was that the delivery partner remained at one location for more than 30 minutes, apparently waiting to pick up another order. When I contacted Zomato and requested cancellation, I was told that the order could not be cancelled. Once an order is placed, the customer is essentially left stranded, with no meaningful option when there is such a delay. My daughter was hungry and waiting for the food, so after waiting for a considerable time, we had to order food from another restaurant. When we subsequently asked the delivery partner to take the food back, he simply left the food at our doorstep and walked away. This was a very poor customer experience. I request Zomato to look into this incident and provide an appropriate resolution/refund.

I placed an order for Naturals Ice Cream with an estimated delivery time of 40 minutes. After the initial 40 minutes, the delivery was delayed by another 25 minutes, followed by an additional 16-minute delay. When I contacted customer support, they repeatedly pushed for a partial refund instead of providing full refund of the order for their delay. This was an extremely disappointing experience and reflects very poor customer service from Zomato. I expected much better accountability.

Anyone can register on Zomato, and the company hasn't set any proper standards; this leads to issues like bad food, lousy service, and fraud. No one should use Zomato—it is a complete waste of money. Rates fluctuate and are very high compared to actual costs. Using such a service is a waste of time, money, and health. I have not received my order zomato employee cheated me even if zomato did not refund.

“Very disappointing experience with Zomato. Order cancel hone ka 100% cancellation charge laga diya gaya. Customer ki situation ko samajhne ke bajay sirf policy ka reason diya gaya. Support se satisfactory resolution nahi mila. Very poor customer service.”

I have done payment of rupees 148 for 5 chapati ..... order was canceled by zomato ..... money was not return this is not good behavior plz give my money back and zomato and hotel management is not receiving calls it's to bad service for us

What a stupid chatbot atleast have a decency to get a human to intervene no resolution and nothing if restaurant and any one mess up we as a customer end up paying its so frustrating the issue is not resolved at all.
