Had to add this review right away after dinner food was really good we ordered pollo pizza, cheese garlic bread, Hazelnut praline pastry 10/10 for food but when we come to service can’t accept this level of service from any brand of Marriott it was pathetic when we sat for dinner we chit chatting and after some time some fight started between staff I think it was captain and waiter it was so loud that they were busy with it and not paying attention it was sous chef on round who noticed and asked service staff that we were calling for them and above all of it staff has zero knowledge of menu they don’t know any recommendations and we have to ask if they have that item or no. Service needs to be improved because hotel of this standards and with this good food taste can’t have such low standards of service Special thanks to chef who made us feel special by seeing us and giving service can’t get your name but Thank You

I walked into Prego at The Westin with eager anticipation, my hopes carefully built on glowing reviews and the restaurant’s long-standing reputation. Sadly, those expectations were swiftly dimmed much like the lighting in the restaurant itself. From the get-go, the ambience felt off. Dim lighting and an uninspired seating layout created a cold, lifeless impression. The space lacked warmth, and worse, the surrounding noise made it feel more like a busy food court than a refined dining experience. For a restaurant that takes pre-reservations, one would expect thoughtful seating especially when the place is near empty. But even that basic expectation fell flat. Then came the food. Unfortunately, it didn’t rescue the evening. The pizza arrived overcooked and underwhelming. The base sauce lacked the bright, rustic character of a traditional Italian pomodoro. The pepperoni was oddly selected it clashed with the crust, didn’t sing with the sauce, and left no memorable note. But the true disappointment of the evening? The ravioli. In an apparent attempt to nail the perfect al dente texture, the pasta turned into something… well, unrecognizable. The filling was forgettable and the outer shell more chewy than charming. Credit where it’s due: the staff were courteous and attentive. But even good service can’t mask what the space fundamentally lacks soul, substance, and authenticity. In a city like Mumbai, where stellar Italian restaurants are no longer a rarity, Prego feels like it’s stuck in time, coasting on legacy rather than merit. Sadly, it just doesn’t make the cut anymore.
