There’s something incredibly comforting about taking your mum and grandmother out for a proper Indian thali — and Rajdhani Thali fits right into that space of nostalgia, abundance, and familiarity. We visited on a Wednesday, and the experience was exactly what one expects from a legacy thali brand that has stood the test of time. The spread is vast, unapologetically traditional, and deeply rooted in Gujarati–Rajasthani flavours. The meal featured a trio of dals — dal tadka, Gujarati dal, and Gujarati kadhi — each with its own personality, making every spoonful feel distinct. The breads deserve a mention on their own. The bajra rotla served with white butter and jaggery was rustic and hearty, while the paratha and fulka kept things soft and familiar. This is comfort food that speaks to generations. The sabzi section was extensive and homely — paneer sabji, aloo tamatar rasa, undhiyu, and an interesting pear and mogri ki sabzi, which was new for me and quite refreshing. It’s always lovely when traditional menus introduce you to combinations you wouldn’t normally try at home. From the Rajasthani side, the dal baati churma brought richness, the lilva kachori added festive indulgence, and khichu balanced things out beautifully. Now, a special shout-out to the garlic chutney — bold, fiery, and absolutely addictive. The kind of accompaniment that quietly steals the show and elevates every bite on the plate. Desserts were plentiful and indulgent, featuring apple-angoori basundi, jalebi, and gajar halwa, ensuring the meal ended on a sweet, satisfying note. Final take: Rajdhani Thali is about tradition, volume, and familiarity. It’s ideal for family outings, especially with elders, and for anyone who enjoys classic vegetarian Indian food served generously and without fuss. Not trendy, not experimental — just honest, time-tested flavours that continue to draw people back.

There's something truly special about sharing a traditional Indian thali with my Son. Rajdhani Thali perfectly captures the essence of nostalgia, abundance, and familiarity. Their spread was huge and beautifully balanced starting with light bites like sarso khatta and soft, fluffy dhokla, followed by crispy pyaz kalongi kachori and comforting ragda pattice. The mains were where things truly shined. From the rustic dal baati churma and flavour-packed surti undhiyu to rich paneer balti and homestyle sabzis like moli palak nu, saag aloo patal bhaji, and chana masala every dish tasted authentic and freshly made. Rice lovers are in for a treat with kothmir dryfruit pulao, masala khichdi, and simple steamed rice, paired perfectly with surti dal, tadka dal, and soothing Gujarati kadhi. The breads? Endless and hot roti phulka, methi puri, and aloo paratha served fresh off the tawa. And of course, dessert was a full-on celebration creamy elaichi shrikhand, rich chukandar halwa, and the absolute highlight: hot jalebi with rabdi 🤍 Overall, Rajdhani isn’t just a meal it’s a full traditional thali experience, perfect for anyone who loves regional Indian flavours served with warmth and generosity.

If you enjoy proper Gujarati–Rajasthani food, Khandani Rajdhani is a safe and satisfying choice. The thali has a good variety of sabzis, dal, kadhi, rotis, farsan and sweets, and everything tastes simple, homely and well-balanced, not overly spicy or oily. The staff keeps serving you without rushing, which adds to the classic Rajdhani experience. Some dishes really stand out while a few feel average, but overall the quality stays consistent.
