This is my second visit with family members. The food is amazing and so is the service. Staff is helpful and attentive. Will surely visit the place again.

Went to Ratnagiri Restaurant in Chembur and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at any restaurant. We told the waiter very politely that we don’t eat much and asked if two thalis would be too much for two girls. Instead of giving us any kind of useful suggestion, he just shrugged and said, “Depends on how much you eat.” Super unhelpful from the start. We clearly said we wanted gravy in one thali and semi-gravy in the other — and what he gave us was just thick, pasty, almost-solid chicken gravy. It was literally inedible. The thali had: • One small bowl of rice • FOUR rotis (we specifically told him we don’t eat roti and asked for extra rice instead — he refused and said we have to take what’s in the thali) • A chicken gravy so thick you could use it as cement • A prawns bhaji (why on earth is there prawn in a chicken thali? We don’t eat seafood — that’s exactly why we ordered chicken.) • Another bhaji that smelled stale and spoiled — we couldn’t even eat it. There was no dal, no balance, just dry items and thick gravy. I straight up asked him, “How are we supposed to eat rice with this kind of gravy and no actual curry?” And he had the audacity to say we need to pay extra for any proper gravy. Only after I got visibly frustrated did he agree to bring some without charging. The entire vibe of the place is super shady, not at all comfortable, especially for two women dining in. To top it all off, the taste was awful. That same night, we both had food poisoning and needed hospital treatment. Imagine paying for food that ends up sending you to the ER. Wouldn’t recommend this place even to my worst enemy. Zero stars if that was possible.

Last Friday Dine in Order was mutton Suke and Naan and then vadde..Waiter brought cold Vade! Then took back and returned with reheated vade which was burnt ...very disappointing! Mutton and naan was ok.. dine in again as thought will have positive experience this time ! went last Night I had bad experience with surmai masala preparation..i pointed at counter to give those 2 piece the tall curly hair manager said ok..but I was given 3 tiny pieces which is a fraud! if your not serving pieces from counter why you kept those! asking customer yo choose .. I would prefer to be hungry rather than eating here !

Highly disappointed with Ratnagiri! Been ordering from this place from quite sometime and it's been good until today. We ordered for a simple chicken lollypop in gravy. What we got was a spicy gravy with no taste just heat and lollipops heavily coated with cornstarch. There was hardly any chicken !! And this costed us 283 bucks! Seriously! You made us pay almost 300 for balls of cornflour dunked in some stupid sauce! Not Cool!

quality of food served is very substandard. they claim to be a seafood speciality place. all seafood is either spoilt or from cold storage . pls dont eat here. there are better restaurants near chembur station.. Never going back here again ever

We ordered bhakri, roti, fish curry, chicken lollypop, prawn koliwada. Everything was undercooked. Good consistency maintained in serving substandard food. Also, hygiene was questionable with dirty glasses.

The food was okay, neither bad nor good. However, the thing that irked us were the staff members. They all kept staring at us till the time we didn’t leave. Never coming back

Disgusting food. I would suggest you to not eat from this restaurant. Absolutely not serving hygienic food. My stomach got upset and started vomiting after eating from here.

The bhakris were stale, had a horrible odour and had become a sticky mess. They are definitely not serving fresh food. Never ordering from here again.
