What would you do if you are craving for some Street food and at the same time your friend is craving for some Thai food. I know we have all been through this situation but don’t worry this place will satisfy both of your taste buds. REKDEE - a stop for Street Food, Chinese, Thai, Italian, Misal, Pavbhaji, Desserts and a lot more. The place is situated on the busy streets of Mulund and 10 mins from Mulund station. What we were served : TARI CHEESE PAV 😍 This is a MUST MUST TRY. Words aren’t enough to tell you how awesome this Tari Pav was! Specially for people who doesn’t want to go through the hassle while eating Misal Pav. CHEESE MASALA PAV 🍞🧀 A unique version with small chunks of Masala Paav drizzled with melted cheese on top. Cheese lovers will surely enjoy this one. TOKRI CHAAT 😋 Sort of like Sev Puri but in those small Tokri rather than plain puri. Quantity was superb. Taste was good too. GREEN THAI CURRY & RICE 🍚 The portion served is sufficient for 2 people. Rice was fluffy and Curry was prepared well. Brownie points for adding good amount of veggies. Ambience was decent. Service was quick. Best part is the place is open till midnight and also opens up early in the morning. You can visit with family or friends for a quick bite or even for a proper meal. Prices are super affordable. One of their best seller is Tari Pav and it is just for 35₹/- 🙌🏻 In all it was a good experience. Would surely recommend !!

Review for Rekdee - Taste of Street 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Rekdee truly lives up to its name, bringing the vibrant flavors of street food to your plate in the most authentic way! Their vada pav and pani puri are absolutely delicious, packed with the bold spices and tangy chutneys you'd expect from a street-side vendor. The tandoori momos and cheese burst sandwich are unique twists that are sure to delight foodies. The ambiance is colorful and lively, with a street-food vibe that's both fun and inviting. Service is quick, and the staff is friendly and helpful in recommending their best dishes. The prices are reasonable, making it a go-to spot for tasty treats without breaking the bank. Rekdee is perfect for satisfying those street food cravings in a clean and hygienic environment. Highly recommended for all snack lovers!

I traveled from very far specifically to visit Rekdee - Taste of the Streets in Mulund for their late night food. The experience was a masterclass in how inconsistent management and staff can drive away genuine customers. The Logical Contradiction: Upon arrival, the boy at the counter informed me that Misal Pav was not available, but Tari Pav was. When I questioned the logic—given that both dishes share the exact same Tari (curry) and Pav—he failed to provide a valid reason. He then claimed a specific '12 AM to 4 AM' rule where Misal Pav is simply not served. I initially accepted this as a business policy maybe thinking that tarri pav has more profit and it consumes less tari as compared to a misal so they can make around 4-5 tari pavs instead of making 1 misal for profit, choosing to be reasonable and patient. The Blatant Bias: The situation changed 10 minutes later when a different family arrived. It was clear the management was partial to this specific group. Suddenly, the '12 AM to 4 AM' rule vanished, and the same staff member announced he was taking 'last orders' for Misal Pav for them. When confronted, he shamelessly claimed the Misal had 'magically' come back into stock. Only after being caught in this lie did he dismissively say, 'If you want now, we can give you,' which entirely missed the point of my concern regarding fair treatment. The Linguistic Insult & Cowardice: When I advised the staff that rules should be consistent for everyone, the boy cowardly hid behind the owner, claiming he was just following orders—despite being the one who originally gave me the 'lecture.' To make matters worse, both the owner and the boy began speaking in Gujarati, assuming I wouldn't understand their comments about a 'mess being created.' They were visibly stunned when I informed them that I understood every word of their mockery. The ‘Go Ahead and Write’ Dare: When I told the staff that such an unprofessional experience deserved a public review, the boy arrogantly responded with, 'Yeah, go ahead and write.' To the Owner: Here is the review your staff requested. It is disappointing to see an owner stand by while staff lies to customers and then joins them in mocking a guest in a different language. Petrol and time were wasted on a recommendation that clearly doesn't value its patrons

Very disappointing and concerning experience. When I asked for regular drinking water, the staff refused and said I had to buy bottled water because they “don’t have a water connection due to construction work.” When I asked how they were preparing food without a water connection, they replied that they are using their Aquaguard/can. So it’s considered safe enough for cooking but not for drinking? That explanation made no sense and raised serious hygiene concerns. Restaurants are not allowed to deny water to customers. There is no GST number printed on the bill. Assuming they aren't registered under GST. Which means they aren't paying indirect tax. Makes it very easy to evade direct taxes also. Overall, very shady practices and poor service. I would strongly advise people to avoid this place.

Found DEAD INSECT in our food @ Rekdee Today we had visited the restaurant and we would like to highlight the following points. 1) Before serving the food the waiters cleaned the plates with a tissue paper. VERY VERY UNHYGIENIC PLATES. 2) We ordered MEXICAN CHILLY RICE in which found a DEAD INSECT. Luckily we saw it before eating and when we complained for it they took the matter very lightly as if it was a casual thing for them.

if only I could rate it less than 1, I ordered Mexican panini which was stale and burnt. Tarri pav is literally just pav and farsan, no gravy at all, and In melted cheese masala pav, it was mayonnaise and not cheese. poor quality and absolutely waste of money to order from this restaurant
