Sunday Thali was super ...much more authentic than other higher rated places . its well known that on Sundays you have to wait to get a table .. all items tasted asli maal Guju with right balance of spices sugar and all were wonderfully tangy .. Next time will try snacks

Waiting time was high. Ambiance is average. Food is good. Veg Kolhapuri and Dal Tadka were good. Phulka were thin. Service staff is good and professional.

Had a great experience at Samrat Veg Restaurant. Their amras puri is the star: the amras had a rich, smooth consistency and paired perfectly with hot, fluffy puris. They also serve bhaji on the side, which elevates the whole meal and makes it even more satisfying. We also tried the chole bhature, and it definitely lived up to expectations: flavourful, indulgent, and well-prepared. The ambience is spacious and comfortable, making it a good spot for both quick meals and relaxed dining plans. Overall, a solid place in South Mumbai if you're craving a wholesome, classic veg meal. The hygiene is not proper…there was a hair in my glass and a dead insect in my soup however the staff was nice and immediately changed it…

Multiple bad experience. 1. Even after charging so much they are giving analogue paneer not real milk paneer. 2. At 11 PM they gave us entry for dine in and at 11.15 PM they said kitchen is closed now nothing is available. We were left with no option which spoiled out dinner night. Though it is very famous veg dine in restaurant, I suggest to avoid this restaurant and food is also not top quality when compared to other restaurants.

Worst service by Mr Narendra. This guy really judged us and was rude to us because we were a group of friends. They only give more respect to families. The food no doubt was amazing. But they really need to improve their cutlery. The staff kept looking at us while we would eat. Almost felt like we were under some inspection. Never visiting this place again

We have been here quite a times but everytime we have had a very bad experience... The service is not upto the mark of the restaurant... The thali service is just pathetic...You have to keep on asking for things for them to serve... Though the name is big the staff and service is just too had.. Not recommend

veg kolhapuri was tasteless. tandoori roti was given burnt and on showing the manager Mr dinesh replied this is the way it comes. overall a very bad experience.
