We went for High tea at Sea Lounge and must say it’s worth the hype. Having coffee and tea by the gateway of India in Taj Mahal Palace was amazing. There was rush but service is top notch. Service was on top, polite, respectful and friendly. Worth every penny we spent. Must have experience. They live up to the name The Taj💕 Coming to food, it was good in taste, especially sweets which were perfect in sweetness.

The place is on, there is a waiting inside the restaurant if you want to sit near the window to enjoy the view of the Gateway of India. So be prepared if you don’t get the window seat. Food was dry, Sandwiches were all made with so little stuffing. The chat counter was horrible, no chutneys were upto the mark, we had to ask for the table service over and over again. The ambience is good and pleasant. If you’re willing to spend so much money I would suggest there are better places to go.

Sub par at best - What was worse than the slow service, and below average food is the attitude of our server - an old man, who carried himself well, however was rude, and on a simple request of taking a photo, made us switch seats unnecessarily so the couple could sit together. This made an honestly average experience feel even worse.

Very disappointing experience. The tea spread had limited options and was not upto mark, only the desserts were good. I was celebrating my birthday, but there was no special gesture or cake, unlike at places such as Loya. To top it off, there was no manager available throughout our visit. Expected much better service. Sadly, it’s not what it used to be once upon a time.

worst experience ever, we literally seat for 1 hour and they didn't serve the food, we asked 5 times and they gave the same answer every time "please give us 5 minutes" . worst food taste. please if you love your time, do not come to waste it here.

horrible service. we tried a high tea buffet and it was not worth it at all. 4k per person. seriously not up to the mark. if you are a couple spend more money than there are other places too..

so i booked table for a family members birthday, they allotted the slot but when we reach to the menu they daid it's booked for some private event. not acceptable behavior. poor management.

I am sitting here right now and the service is just pathetic . taj this is not expected from you . I ordered a simple butter and it's taken ages to get one . 5 times
