Sernyaa is a hidden gem in Mumbai for Tibetan food. It is run by a humble Tibetan family. You get delicious momos authentic noodles and a lot more. If you are a Spice lover do ask for their pickled Bhut jolokia chillies. It is not on the menu but they use it in spicy dishes. Everything from their oil to ingredients reflect authentic Tibet. We had Pan fried momos, Pork momos and Chicken Lollypop this time. The chicken steam momos have to be the best authentic momo in Mumbai. A few must try options are below : Tai Chin Jhasha Gyami Phaksha Sepa Prawn Chicken Sakya Rice The ambience is humble, the staff is warm with their hospitality. Don't expect too much from the ambience, but i can assure you they'll cover up in the service and brilliant food taste. If you get a chance to meet the humble owner uncle, do have a word with him. First time I had Tibetan flavour. They're so good they bring there cultural cuisine here in Mumbai 💯❣️ when I saw this in Andheri I can't controlled myself to go inside and have something different and yes that was worth too. I tried there sernya special T-momo that was unique that dough bread and there special gravy is mouth watering and can't describe in words but still doing it. And in rice I had Amdo-de rice this was also unique in his flavour. I love to explore this kind of cuisines 💯📢 loved it. Ambience wise it's great no doubt it's very tiny place but it's very chill vibes. Love to visit this place again and again ❣️💯 Yes quantity wise it's very less but if you guys trying something good and different then who cares man, just enjoy that moment 📢💯 Rate card:- Quality 5/5 Quantity 5/3.5 Ambience 5/3.5

The owner of sernyaa Mr. Kamal Karma Lama was born in Calcutta and is from a Tibetan Family. 20 years ago, He was the first person to introduce the concept of Momos in Mumbai. He started his restaurant Sernyaa as a Chinese restaurant and used to give Momos as a complimentary dish to make people aware about momos. Fast forward to now we can see a Momos Stall in every street. Sernyaa has two branches, one in Andheri and other in Malad. We tried out their Chicken Momos and they were super delicious. Momos here are served with 3 different types of chutney’s ( Spicy, Sweet and Black). We would highly recommend that you guys should visit this place and try out their Momos.

Nothing can beat this place when it comes to authentic tibetan food . This place is simple place opp lotus petrol pump andheri west . List of things we ordered: 1 steam momos 2 pan fried chicken momos 3 ghuma jhasa ( chicken sausage mix with stir fry veggies mix with their own tibetan sauce ) 4 Chicken bamboo rice (Must must have ) 5 chicken wrapped prawns . Its so so delicious cant remember the tibetan name for it . We just hogged it so couldn’t get any pics . Have tried both their outlets malad as well as andheri . Great service !!!

To start with, very simple but welcoming ambiance, 2 people will be very comfortable but not for 3 or 4 as the seating area is bit small, but yes!! when the food is on your table, things won't matter. We ordered SOUP then-thup pork, STARTER roast pork chilly, steamed pork momos, MAIN COURSE sakya rice pork. Soup was light and loaded with flavor, pork chilli was perfectly cooked with good variety of veggies, pork momos was juicy, and sakya rice is a fully loaded meal, good portion, loaded with flavor, the best thing what impressed me was every dish was freshly prepared, the flavor and super hot food will change your mood, I genuinely loved this place, huge variety is a plus, so give a try.

Have been visiting this outlet for more than 5 years now... don't be deceived by their humble decor ... they consistently serve very tasty food.. our regular favorites are chicken pan fried momo, suzila rice, and stir fried momo with vegetables...

We had momos n noodles.. Momos were good... Noodles were average. Overall we liked it. It is a small restaurant with nice ambiance.

I have been told that this is an authentic Tibetan food outlet. If this is it, I love Tibetan food. I had a Veg Thukpa and Steamed Momos and the juiciest of Pork Sparibs with Sakya Rice to fulfil. Decent enough place. Don't forget to try their special chutney!!!

The food caused severe acidity issues to all of us. And it was just ordinary in taste..didn't enjoy it at all. Had heard a lot about this place but was disappointed...

Ordered pan fried chicken momo n sweet corn chicken soup ... it was a horrible experience.. the food was stale and stinking really bad 👎👎👎
