A legacy that truly lives up to its name! Visited the new Shalimar outlet in Vashi and was genuinely impressed. From the elegant ambience to the warm service, everything reflected the same timeless charm that Shalimar has carried since its Bhendi Bazaar days. We started with a refreshing mocktail spread, followed by the Khanzana Platter — a mix of perfectly grilled chicken and mutton kebabs, Prawns Dynamite, and Chicken Kung Pao — each dish bursting with flavour. The Nalli Nihari, Chicken Korma, and Mutton Biryani in the main course were rich, aromatic, and truly authentic. And of course, the desserts — Shahi Tukda and the legendary Shalimar Special Falooda — were the perfect grand finale. A beautiful blend of legacy and modern comfort — Shalimar Vashi is a must-visit for anyone who loves true Mughlai flavours served with warmth and tradition.

Wonderful experience overall..🥰 The staff were exceptionally courteous and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delightful. The seamless application of my Zomato coupon during billing, resulting in nearly 40% off, was especially appreciated.💞

Food was good , especially the chicken kaba stuffed with mince ! Out of the world .. mutton bheja was soso but the Lucknowi chicken gravy was simply fantastic! Good job by chef and all staff !

The gravy and naan were genuinely good, which made what followed even more disappointing. We then ordered biryani and found a cockroach in it. This is a serious hygiene failure and completely unacceptable, especially from a restaurant that claims a good standard. Even though the item wasn’t included in the bill, that does not excuse the lapse. Extremely disappointing experience.

Food was okish, not great as the original shalimar of Mohammed ali road. Butter chicken was pathetic, though he didn’t bill the butter chicken when we returned it.

We ordered Mutton Do-pyaaza, but got Mutton Oil-Zyada. Too much oil in the gravy, not at all edible let alone be healthy.

Shalimar name Ka brand se ye log chalata hai but food quality street food se Bhi kharab hai but ye logo ko paisa se matlab hai quality se Nehi vashi shalimar ekdam bekar khana deta hai Dog Bhi isse accha khana khata hoga

last Friday I was taken to Mutton Biriyani and Shami Kabab but not test in Biryani also not test in Kabab so please improve quality
