So I found this place thought of exploring some food. Some how to mine notice place was full and i was shock to see crowd. Service was a bit slow. We have order few dishes - roasted masala papad, veg thali, jeera rice and dal tadka. Food was a bit okay nothing great. Ambiance was again okay like service staff were fine. They can improve their food and service.

Had been to the nearest devi temple in the vicinity.. was late in the afternoon hence found this hotel to have lunch.. the ac section on 1st floor is very much cramped for room.. without proper height of the ceiling as well.. even the toilet up there isn't that good.. we had ordered for thali. Which tasted ok.. even the spl shahi biryani and spl Kashmiri biryani wasnt anything so spl to mention about them.. service needs improvement.. overall an ok experience.. {uid:47614281}

So, I was passing by and felt like picking up a plate of Idli... Upon asking for menu, he gave me "delivery menu" which charged me Rs. 65. I asked for their restaurant menu and there it was Rs. 55. So I told the man at the cash counter in a soft but firm tone that I am neither using your ac nor your service then why will I pay as per delivery menu?! And secondly, delivery menu is supposed to be cheaper due to the same reason. Even Amar Restaurant, Tardeo 's delivery menu is atleast 20% cheaper than restaurant menu!! His guilt was shown in the way he started speaking with me thereafter... Further, a very old lady came for a pickup and he again provided her the delivery menu... So I alerted her to which she thanked me 2-3 times... And just walked off as she felt cheated by the restaurant... Again, that guy took offence and was like "Aap mic leke khade ho jao... Aap galat kar rahe ho!!" I am like dude, seriously?! I told him that I ll make sure that I spread this and review you online!! So anybody who wants to pick up food from here, make sure you choose from restaurant menu... ...and if it is for delivery, then again they cannot charge 20% higher for each item as you are not sitting in the restaurant and using their ac or services!! If they want, they can charge you Rs. 20-30 extra towards delivery charges... But definitely not 20% higher for each item... And if they reason that we are charging because we have to pay Zomato as well... Then that's their greed... You cannot have best of both worlds... If you want your business to increase and so you opt to deliver through Zomato, Swiggy, etc. then you cannot recover that cost from customers... I hope this review helps customers, which should be an indirect slap on the unethical and a cheat restaurant!!

We visited this place on our visit to Mahalaxmi temple. Since there was no hotel nearby & being hot afternoon we decided to visit this hotel as taxi driver suggested saying it’s popular & many tourists also visit to have food.Also it was too crowded so we thought to let’s give it a try. Coming straight to the point it’s a pathetic restaurant to visit! We ordered Tandoori roti, veg Shobha Paneer (hotel Speciality), Dal Tadka, Jeera rice & Lassi. Guess what.. total bill for this was Rs. 1250!!?? I would rate the food quality ZERO! Worst food & service.. jeera rice was uncooked, food colour was used for Paneer gravy, No taste in Dal Tadka & way too much oil, Lassi was watery(if he would have added half glass of extra water it would become sweet buttermilk). Upon this they charged us double for using AC room. However we ended up paying the bill with taxes + AC charges, while leaving the hotel owner asked us to return the bill & took it.This was clear cheating done by this hotel. #Worstresturant #wasteofmoney #patheticfood #extremelyoverpriced

VISITED BABULNATH & MAHALAXMI TEMPLE & WAS AROUND AFTERNOON 2 WHN V GOT THIS SMALL CONGESTED RESTRO IN THE HIGH POLITE BREACH CANDY AREA. PLACE IS VERY SMALL & CONGESTED & I GUESS THOSE WHO R LOOKING FOR AFFORDABLE PLACE AT BRRACH CANDY SIDE EASILY COMES TO THIS RESTRO AS ITS NEAR BY MAHALAXMI TEMPLE ROAD. FOODS R AVERAGE IN TASTE NOTHING SPECIAL & I GUESS THE MANAGEMENT IF THEY HAVE SHOULD TAKE CARE OF THE UTENCILS ARE CLEANED PROPERLY OR NOT.UTENSILS SERVED TO US WERE NOT CLEANED PROPERLY & V HABE TO DO SO WITH TISSUE PAPERS. SERVICE IS LIKE JUGGAD LIKE RESTUARANTS IN DELHI SIDES. RATES R TOO HIGH AS COMPARED TO HIGH END RESTRO AROUND THE VICINITY. PARKING IS A NIGHTMARE SO DON'T EVN THINK OF BRING YR CAR/BIKE. No fancy business. Just straight to the point. Quick service. Sitting arrangement is good. Punjabi sabzi is bearable. South Indian food is good. I ordered Paper dosa which was costing 95 and normal dosa 75. I DONT UNDERSTAND that just 20 rs difference I have been giving paper dosa which is not even that big, the way it should be. Fast food items like pizza & pav bhaji also available. You will get all sorts of cold drinks & ice creams. The usual tea & coffee also available. Staff is pathetic, non-co-operative. They think they own the whole place. Situated just next to Mahalaxmi temple, you can surely step-in for a quick bite and bid bye. For quick & straight to the point service with coziness, I give 2 stars.

We visited this place on our visit to Mahalakshmi temple. Being a hot afternoon, we stopped at this restaurant for a coffee and a shake. We wanted them for take-out. They told us to go upstairs for waiting. So the bill should have been ₹190. But guess what? We got a total bill of ₹290. Upon asking, the owner here replied "that is for the A.c. Room you waited in". He was the one that told us to wait upstairs. So we ended up paying ₹100 for 5 minutes. This place has two separate menus. You order from a affordable one, but pay more! Be careful people. The coffee and shake wasn't deifinitely worth spending ₹290. Or he could have just told us about their two menus. I hope karma hits him hard!

Pathetic place to eat out at a prime location, waste of money and time .. they serve smelly food n uncooked food, ordered biryani and pulao which came to be very smelly...major dissapointmnt specialy while taking guests out for lunch..Even the person at the counter didn’t take the feedback gracefully. It was sad to waste a lot of food which was not eatable at all #savefood #wasteofmoney @friends save ur health n money n also time by not choosing this place.

We were group of 12 occupied 3 tables. Waiter served all orders, dishes on one table. One of our group member distributed orders and dishes all tables. When we complained manager, he replied: as per govt law we are not obliged to serve all tables. ( I felt, he simply justified his shortage of staff). One more funny statement by manager : we are 2nd grade restaurant, u should not expect 1st grade service from 2nd grade restaurant.

Placed close to Mahalaxmi temple. Only place for tourist who come by bus to have lunch or snacks. Highly highly overpriced for the type of hotel it is. Standard flavours of the food. Thought the price will be like any regular hotel who offer lunch thali. Really wondering what is making him to price so high. May be the only one time eaters like the tourists.
