best breakfast in town hands down!!!! great ambiance great service..... d medu wada felt lik I was eating a cloud,it was dat soft n delicious !! Puri bhaji was amazing....n perfect filter coffee.... I would give it 10stars if it was an option... highly recommended.....

The BUTTER PODI IDLI is to die for🫶🏻 , This is a very affordable and good place! Their rasam is straight from heaven . They gave me free rasam and payssam when requested loved the service and i keep going their every week.

We could see most of the guests rejecting them. 4. Pachadi was unexpected. When we asked for Pachadi as a replacement to Curd, we expected Tair Pachadi. By providing Takali Pachadi , the overall combination of the meal went completely wrong. Everything was on the spicier side and there was nothing to ease the spice. 5. Chaas was good but the quantity was too little. Only 7 people could drink the Chaas and it was already over. It was an embarrassing situation as hosts. 6. Even the pickle that was given - more than 50% was seeds and the quantity was very little. We had ordered food for 15 people. You mentioned , usually the quantity can suffice for 17-18 people , but it was extremely disappointing and disproportionate. The amount of rice you gave was easily for 25 people but others - specially Chaas and Pickle was hardly sufficient for even half the guests. Overall : We are extremely disappointed with the catering services of Gowri Shankar. I am definitely not going to recommend the lunch/catering to anyone. Your breakfast items are very good , but lunch/catering services needs a lot of improvement. I wanted to give 1 star for this review , but the breakfast menu is really good. Specially the Ghee Podi Idli and Dosa. And the filter coffee is also good. But the catering experience really put me off and hence the baad overall rating. I really hope you improve on the services really soon, before it's too late.

Disappointing food! I was happy that there is now a good place serving authentic south Indian food. Went with my family for the second time as the first time, food tasted good. However within a span of 3 months the food taste has changed a lot. Sambhar didn't taste like how it should be. It tasted more like just a Dal. Dosa was overcooked and had to be replaced which again was not upto the mark. Pongal was dry. we had to ask them to prepare in ghee again. So overall a complete no no for me. Not going to comeback

The service provided was unsatisfactory. The parcel was physically picked up and packed differently than ordered. Furthermore, the response received over the phone call was extremely disappointing. Please be aware of this subpar performance when considering their services.

the restaurant took an hour to serve sabzi and then after 5 minutes told us there is no rote for the sabzi they served. also when we asked a staff member they told, it's not their fault because someone else took the order.

Really surprised to hear when I enquired for Jain sambhar they said we serve only Jain sambhar in morning once over we can’t and not in evening definitely discouraged a customer to visit. You lost one customer.

Worst food, bad service. Food tastes awful. Filter coffee is the worst I have had so far. They have staff underutilized in many aspects. Some of the food items are overpriced. Not visiting next time for sure.

we ordered masala dosa and onion uttapam but the services are slower than snail and the behaviour of the staff is not customer friendly
