I had a great experience at Silver Coin Restaurant. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was attentive throughout our meal. The menu offered a nice variety, and everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The portions were satisfying, and the prices felt reasonable for the quality. I’d definitely recommend Silver Coin for anyone looking for a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. Looking forward to visiting again!"

This restaurant is the perfect family restaurant. The staffs are sooo humble and kid friendly. They gave complimentary pop-corn and fried noodles for my daughter. An extra cushion for my kid to sit comfortably. Of course food is mind-blowing with no soda. I order chicken tandoori, chicken sweet corn soup and chicken fried rice. The bill was of 1k only. Highly recommendable.

Best place to have non veg sizzlers (chicken / prawns) from Andheri to Dahisar. The taste is unbeatable. The portion size is amazing. A must visit place for sizzlers and Chinese food!

It has been more than twenty years since I first visited Silver Coin Family Restaurant and Bar with my family, and it continues to remain a special place for us in Borivali. It is one of those restaurants in Borivali that continues to feel like home because of its food and hospitality. This time, we began our meal with a bowl of Chicken Manchow Soup. It was served hot, and I enjoyed how it had a bold, flavorful taste without being overpowering. For starters, we ordered Veg Seekh Kebab, Mutton Seekh Kebab, and Chicken Pahadi Tikka. The Veg Seekh Kebab was nice, cooked well, and had the perfect earthy flavour. The Mutton Seekh Kebab was outstanding. It had a silky texture, was well-seasoned, and paired beautifully with the chutney. It was not chewy at all, and I really liked how smooth it felt with every bite. The Chicken Pahadi Tikka was equally good. The chicken was tender, juicy, and cooked with a light smokiness that made it enjoyable. For the mains, I ordered Jeera Rice with Dal Tadka. The dal had a nice garlic tempering with the right amount of cumin, and together with the rice it felt wholesome and comforting. The Chicken Tikka Masala came with soft pieces of chicken in a thick gravy that had a good balance of spices. It went really well with the Tandoori Roti, which was crisp on the edges and soft in the middle. The Chicken Triple Schezwan Fried Rice was the last dish. It was mildly spiced, had a smoky taste from the wok, and the flavours were balanced in a way that made it enjoyable till the last bite. As we were about to finish, we couldn’t resist ordering the Chicken Masala Lollipop, which has always been a family favorite. It was crispy, spicy, and coated beautifully with sauce. It was the highlight of the evening. The chicken inside was fresh and well-cooked, and every bite reminded me why I have loved this dish here for years. The food at Silver Coin Family Restaurant and Bar is consistently good, and the staff make the experience even better. They are polite, attentive, and always welcoming. This restaurant is more of a family place, and the presence of a bar only adds to the variety without taking away from its warm atmosphere. We’ve been to this place quite a few times, and it continues to deliver in terms of quality and consistency. Here's a quick breakdown of what we had this time: Soups: * Chicken Manchow Soup – Really good! Packed with flavor. Rating: 5/5 * Cream of Mushroom – Slightly different from the usual versions, but pleasantly so. Creamy and well made. Rating: 4/5 * Chicken Burnt Garlic Soup – This was a miss for us. Clear broth, but lacked depth and flavor. Rating: 2/5 Main Course: * Paneer Rara Masala – Flavorful and rich, great with naan. Rating: 4/5 * Methi Chicken – Slightly different from regular gravies, but the taste was nice and distinct. Rating: 4/5 * Chicken Peshawari – Extremely flavorful, though on the spicier side. Spice lovers will enjoy this! Rating: 3/5 Desserts: * Caramel Custard – Decent, but not something we’d go back for. Rating: 3/5 * Malai Slice Ice Cream – Simple and satisfying. Rating: 4/5 * Gajar ka Halwa - Was average 2.5/5 * Honey Noodles with Ice Cream – Crunchy, sweet, and nicely done. Rating: 4/5 Quantity was decent, and food quality overall was good. A special shoutout to Michael Gomes, our captain for the evening – very courteous, gave us great suggestions, and ensured we had a comfortable dining experience. Truly appreciate the thoughtful service. Overall: A dependable place for a relaxed family dinner. We’ll definitely be back again!

I visited this restaurant for dinner, and overall, the experience was quite enjoyable. The food was excellent, and although the service was a bit slow due to the restaurant being full, the quality of the dishes definitely made up for the wait. Here's a breakdown of what I tried: Spicy Lemon Coriander Chicken Soup: 5/5 – A flavorful start to the meal, with just the right balance of spice and freshness. Cream of Chicken: 5/5 – Rich, creamy, and comforting, it was an absolute winner. Prawns Koliwada: 4/5 – Crispy and well-seasoned. Bombil Rava Fry: 5/5 – Perfectly crispy and delicious, one of the highlights of the meal. Roast Chicken Chilly: 3.5/5 – The chicken was good, but it wasn’t outstanding. Pomfret Gassi: 5/5 – A must-try! The pomfret was perfectly cooked, and the curry was rich and flavorful. Prawns Ghee Roast: 4/5 – Well-prepared prawns, though I would’ve liked a little more depth in the flavor. Malabar Paratha: 5/5 – Soft, fluffy, and incredibly tasty, it paired perfectly with the curries. Virgin Pina Colada: 4/5 – Refreshing, but the coconut flavor could have been more pronounced. Overall, the food was outstanding, and the staff was friendly and helpful, making it a pleasant dining experience despite the slight delay in service. Highly recommend giving it a try!

A posh restaurant located in Borivli. It's interior is well lit with soft music, comfortable seating and ancient Indian wall carving. This restaurant had a bar as well. First of all, had ordered Hara Bara Chicken. It tasted delicious. Next, had ordered Sizzlers. They all tasted really delicious. Lastly, had ordered a Silver Coin Special Ice-cream that tasted really good. The quantity was good. The ambience was good. The service was good. The prices were a little bit on a higher side. Overall, a good place for Indian and other cuisines.

Poor management and complete lack of accountability. My order took 1 hour and 40 minutes to arrive despite multiple reminders. All they kept saying during calls was, 'The food left 10 minutes ago,' without offering any clear information. No one bothered to check with the delivery agents, and every time I asked a question, they just handed the phone off to someone else. The food quality, which used to be great years ago, has clearly declined, and so has the management. Very frustrating experience.

The surmai fish fry was stale and had no salt in it . The chicken ghee roast had only bones . Pathetic food for exuberant prices
