One of the best hole-in-the-wall eateries in Mumbai, I was taken by a friend who had been frequenting the place over the last 3 years. Good food at highly affordable prices in a no-frills ambience, this is how good experiences are created. I was highly impressed and ordered most of their menu for a heavy lunch. Impeccable taste, fast service, clean interiors, fairly quiet - all ingredients for a high rating. It had been some time since I had doled out a 5/5, but this place deserved it. I'll try ordering in sometime as well just to ensure consistency.

We visited this place for breakfast today. We ordered the veg stew with appam, Paratha with black chana vegetable and beef chilly with appam. The food was tasty and I'll definitely visit this place again for lunch or dinner. The owner was very friendly and suggest a few things. Nice place if you wish to try some South Indian food.

Excellent food! Freshness and quality is good. We had surmai and prawn fish thali. The fish was well cooked. Appams were soft and went very well with the fish curry. The prawn chilly fry was yummy. A restaurant that stands the test of time for 40 years. The owners are personally involved.

Food is an absolute blaster… takes you to kerala; with their very authentic keralite flavours in all the dishes. Very basic seating, but food exhibits the simplicity of a country side kerala cuisine as well.

Had the Chicken varattiyathu and parotha, all I can say is wow! The chicken was absolutely delicious and the parotha was crispy and flaky. A must try!!

The buffalo meat was well cooked and tasty. Kerala Porotta was soft, thin and flaky just like back home.

Absolutely love this place!! The food here is amazing and really affordable. The service is also really fast and the owners sometimes does the service by them self and explain you the roots of the dish. Been here a lot of times and loved the appam but sadly they are only available in breakfast. Apart from that if you are looking for a tasty meal in a pocket friendly price then you should definitely try this place out

Heard a lot abt beef fry at this place and kerla style food, went for lunch on Christmas day. Ordered chicken masala fry, kadak parotta, appam, chicken biryani, all food was tasty and easy on pocket. Next time I wil try beef here

Fish curry....? The last time i ordered fish curry I was very pleased with the coconut gravy and 3 small surmai tail pieces for rs 80 But today I ordered the same dish and was given spicy red gravy (maybe mutton gravy) with 1 mackerel I can understand the type of fish being changed but how can a restaurant change the masalas and serve a client a totally different taste Very disappointing Had to throw most of the food in the bin coz it was so spicy 🌶🌶🌶 😠😡😡😡

I ordered unniappam from this restaurant and they send me bad poor quality ...fungus food ...it affected my health . I complained at zomato and they supported me but when I called the restaurant they didn't answer my call 😞 so disgusting.i feel ashamed being a malayali how can a malayali be so unprofessional and not care of customers health and send unhygienic food . zomato should take action against such restaurant
