Great ambience and even better food. Soraia in Mahalakshmi can be a bit of a hassle to reach due to its location and ongoing construction around it, but the service and the establishment make up for it. We had the Paneer Khurchan Tacos and Chicken Matka Pulao, both absolute bangers. Paneer khurchan- soft, pillowly Paneer pieces (generous amount) loaded into freshly cooked mini naans with spices and pickled onions. Made for a good start to the meal. Chicken Matka Pulao- the chicken literally fell off the bone. The rice was neither too mild, nor too much. Perfect balance of flavours, the complimentary gravy was good too. For dessert go for the tres leches. All in all, would definitely visit again!

Soraia Mahalaxmi is such a beautiful space and an absolute visual treat! Designed by Gauri Khan, the interiors are stunning with elegant, stylish and thoughtfully put together, making the entire dining experience feel extra special. ✨ It’s also a perfect spot for a relaxed Sunday lunch, whether you’re catching up with friends or spending time with family. Chef Hitesh has done an amazing job with the menu, with every dish feeling well thought out and delicious. A special mention to Nilesh for his wonderful service , warm, attentive and ensuring we had a great experience throughout. Definitely a place I’d love to come back to!

the food is to worth every penny. staff is courteous and sweet. the staff kept asking us whether we like the food or no and remade our pasta fresh as it had turned cold.. its my go to place

Soraia is indeed a beautiful setting and good service. However the food can be improved to help taste more original flavours of the ingredient and blend. We could mainly taste the spices. It’s good food but not excellent and I believe they can surely make it excellent. The place is exceptionally ambient to sit outdoors, and yet it had a few mosquitoes and also lots of dust layers in glasses around it, also on the glass of the glass house behind. This muted the exceptional vibe. This can be remedied easily with more attentive cleaning and maintaining and the place becomes exceptional. Overall it’s a good place to go with friends. Cocktails are good.

*⭐ Pathetic Experience - Total Hype, Zero Substance* We visited this place solely because of the Gauri Khan interior tag, but what a letdown. The hype is completely misleading. Service is even worse. The staff on call was arrogant and rude. Their attitude only changed when we decided to walk out within 30 minutes. The most shocking part was the Manager, *Mr. Nikhil*. To cover up our bad experience, he insisted we try one dish. We reluctantly tasted it, and later he charged us for it on the bill. When confronted, he casually said, "It was added by mistake, but since you tasted it, you have to pay." This is outright cheating and extremely unprofessional. Food was completely bland and tasteless. Save your money and time. It's an overhyped, overpriced place with terrible hospitality. Never going back.

Soraia Bombay is very overrated and overhyped, and is simply living on the Gauri Khan tag. The overall experience was quite disappointing. 😕 The glasses were not properly clean, which is something you really don’t expect at a place of this standard. Food is bland, music is bad, The service was terribly slow, and what disappointed me even more was the lack of attentiveness from the staff. They simply didn’t seem concerned about the guests or interested in making the experience better. 🥂 For a place with this much hype, I expected much better service and attention to detail. Unfortunately, it didn’t live upto the expectations. I won’t be visiting again, and honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it either. 👎
