Food was yummy. we had ordered 3 Set Thalis (1 Veg, 2 Non Veg). All the dishes were delicious, especially the starters & payasum. 2 suggestions: 1. A little less salt in the food. 2. Even though there are prefilled small steel bowls in the Thali, they should be filled as per diner's preference. Quantity is too much for an average Eater. Hope this is taken in the right spirit & followed up.

The food was disappointing (preset buffet) for the amount being charged. The service is a bit slow. The ambience is great though. The staff is polite and patient.

Had Onam Sadhya for lunch today. This place is not same, taste of food has gone down drastically…there are many options in mumbai which serves much better food at 1/3 price. Their paysam and filter coffee are worst, even Avial and other dishes

I was very excitedly looking forward to a meal at South of Vindhyas and this place had been on my bucket list for over 3 years especially for the large Sadhya spread , however my excitement was met with very low quality standards of food. To begin with, the starters served were cold. Papads were served soggy. This is about the food served in table. On the buffet side, all the curries had gone cold inspite of being laid out on the burners. We asked for ghee to be served alongwith the podi masala, had to remind 3 different servers before we actually received it. Overall it was very disappointing to pay 2600/- for a meal which I could have easily had for less than 1000/- at any good restaurant across Mumbai. The extra charge that I paid is to receive the 5 star service for a place like The Orchid. We honestly left feeling highly unsatisfied with our overall meal experience.
