Visited Sun Moon and Potatoes, Malad, and honestly, what an experience! The place has an awesome ambience — warm, lively, and perfect for a relaxed dining outing. Their menu brings together Continental, Mexican, and Chinese cuisine, giving you a lot to explore. I started with Apple Iced Tea and Virgin Mojito — both refreshing, perfectly chilled, and a great way to set the tone for the meal. For starters, I went for Cheesy Potatoes and Poto Fritto. Both were absolutely delicious — crispy on the outside, loaded with flavour, and that perfect balance of seasoning and cheese that just hits differently. In the mains, I tried the Paneer Shashlik Sizzler and Peito de Frango com Quejo. Super, super, super! The flavours were unique, beautifully crafted, and honestly something I’ve never tried before. The presentation, the taste, the portion — everything felt premium and thoughtfully done. Overall, Sun Moon and Potatoes, Malad turned out to be a fantastic experience. Highly recommended if you want to try something new and enjoy great food in a lovely setting!

Sun Moon and Potatoes is a great little place to have quick bites, and a nice restaurant for dinner options as well. The area is very small, but the seating is comfortable and the ambience is simple yet good. We had ordered in Drinks - Pink Elephant & Virjin Mojito It's mind-blowing! Starters - Chicken Wrapped prawns melted in my mouth and the softest. Cream cheese herb potato - Awesome fabulous taste kids also eat well. Main course Veg pot rice - trutly unbeatable . Sizzler Veg paprika hot with rich flavour A solid pick for sizzler lover. Desserts - baked apple pie with ice cream 🍨 unique and the perfect sweet ending The staff is overall satisfactory and the very clean restaurant! .the taste makes the food worth it!

Sun Moon & Potato absolutely exceeded expectations! 🤤 The food arrived hot, fresh and smelled heavenly the moment I opened the packaging. Every dish was perfectly seasoned — rich flavour, right balance of spices and so comforting to eat. Portions were generous too, so definitely value for money. You can really feel the love and effort they put into their cooking — it’s not just food, it’s comfort on a plate. This is officially my new go-to place when I’m craving something delicious and satisfying. Highly recommended!

Tried Sun, Moon & Potatoes and honestly loved the whole experience! The food was super comforting and full of flavour — their pasta and garlic bread were my favourites. The ambiance has this cozy, relaxing vibe that just makes you want to sit and enjoy your meal peacefully. Service was quick and the staff was really polite too. Definitely a place I’d come back to whenever I’m craving good food and good vibes.

Some restaurants quietly become neighbourhood institutions, and Sun Moon & Potatoes in Malad West is one of those places that has stood the test of time with its comforting continental fare and indulgent sizzlers. The experience here almost always begins with the aroma of sizzling platters making their way across the dining room. Their sizzlers are easily among the stars of the menu — hearty, flavourful and generously portioned, with perfectly grilled meats paired with sautéed vegetables and rich sauces that make every bite deeply satisfying. The continental selection is equally impressive. The Chicken Roulade, orange chilli chicken etc are beautifully done, tender and well seasoned, while the Chicken Stroganoff delivers that classic creamy comfort with its velvety sauce and balanced seasoning. The Paprika Chicken and Sicilian Garlic Chicken further highlight the kitchen’s ability to deliver bold yet comforting flavours. For starters, the Nachos make for a perfect sharing appetiser, layered with crunch and flavour. The Crackling Mushrooms and American Corn Cheese Balls are also popular table favourites, offering that addictive combination of crisp textures and creamy fillings. Even the Garlic Bread Basket feels nostalgic and satisfying. Among the mains, the Basil Pesto Pasta brings a fresh herbaceous touch to the menu, while the Chicken Lasagna is rich, layered and indulgent — perfect for those craving classic comfort food. Had gone there for sizzler’s but unfortunately due to gas crises they served the food in a normal plate instead of sizzling plate. So didn’t enjoy much this time..

chicken Salad was good no doubt, Do not order Devil Wings its not worth the money and taste. We ordered one more dish which can be seen in the below image which was worst of all the gravy wo so sweet that you cannot take a bite of it, who the hell makes a nonveg dish sweet. will not recommend going here

Our experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing, mainly due to the behavior of the owner/manager on duty. From the moment we arrived, he was rude and dismissive. We politely requested to sit at a particular table, but he bluntly refused and spoke to my partner in a very disrespectful manner, saying that we would be made to sit wherever they decided and that we should not question it. Things only got worse from there. Without informing us, he went ahead and cancelled our order, and then began arguing with us outside on the road. The entire interaction was unprofessional and unnecessary. It’s surprising to see this place operate this way, especially since it’s rarely full and constantly offering discounts. We used to visit often and had fond memories when the management was different, but this experience has completely changed our perception. Good food or old memories cannot make up for such poor treatment. Basic courtesy and respect towards customers seem to be missing. I would not recommend this place to anyone based on the pathetic service and the way customers are spoken to.
