Sunlight....... where do i start..... so for a first I may say their ac section has improved alot, from feeling like you are in a chimney, now it's almost crystal clear....... service much faster..... popcorn and any Chinese starter is a safe bet...... 25 rs per song for the jukebox...... crowd during 7 to 11 pm especially weekend is the time when you should actually go...... difference in rate of drinks approx 100 rs per nip or beer from the non ac..... overall just a perfect experience coming back there after almost 6 years

Visited sunlight with group of friends some time back. Believed to be a competitor to kitkat, this college crowd puller is good to go when one is low on budget and want to booze in a place like SOBO. The ambience is like any other shady bar. There is mostly waiting on weekends so expect a waiting of 10 mins atleast and make it a point to carry cash. Also there's a jukebox which plays 90's song by paying a charge of Rs. 20/- per song. For the people who are okay with smoking can use the Ac room upstairs else it's recommended to sit downstairs. In frame - Chicken Lollypop 1) Chicken Lollypop - (4/5) A perfect appetizer with cheap booze. The lollypop were crisp and spicy. Loved the Schezwan sauce. A must try.😊👍🏻 2) chicken crispy (4/5) normal crispy which we get at any restaurant with chicken and veggies tossed. However, the portion size is less for the price charged. 3) chicken triple rice (4/5) the triple rice was as expected but the gravy compliments it well again nothing extraordinary. Overall rating -3.5/5 But all in all, a good experience to hangout at month end, total value for money, would visit again and surely recommended for people who aren't willing to spend much on hard drinks. A suggestion to improve their hygiene quotient. Nevertheless give it a try and revive your college days memories as it's filled with college crowd most of the time👍🏻✨

Sunlight has been a place where the golden age of many generations have been found and it still continues to do so. Apart from providing just the right amount of shadiness along with cheap booze and great food, the place becomes heaven for those few minutes every night when the entire bar resonates to in a voice to the likes of Coldplay and even Kumar Sanu. The ambience is mesmerizing, the crowd is amazing and the cheese butter popcorn is to die for. With a bit of politeness from the staff, this place could create a name for the books but well, somehow it already has despite everything.

The famed easy on the pocket tavern Sunlight was on my list for a long time and sure didn't disappoint! Dim lights and fairly loud music (I believe it has a pay and use jukebox to select a song) and the dirt cheap prices for good grub make it a fun yet budget friendly spot for those boozy evenings. The place is reminiscent of those no frills college bars that make it all the more special and must visit, especially while in South Bombay!

If you are looking for a place With your friends to hang out with pocket friendly food and drinks. Then this is the best place with not so good hygiene but definitely can be overlooked. There are different types of foods which you can hop upon specially non-veg and for starters you have various options which you can enjoy with your drinks.

Cheap alcohol, good music, and a shady bar. It is a fun bar to hangout with a small or huge group. Their choice of music which makes it more fun to sip your favourite drink though a cheap bar but full bar at your service. The only drawback is the food which is average but typical chakna type.

The prices are 2.5 times the MRP, We do understand you are running a business not NGO, but its a loot as you are charging 2.5 times the MRP. Please don't misuse people's love for your restaurant.

I have been a regular customer. The staff in the ac section is usually polite but last night we were sitting in the open section. The waiters were not paying attention and on top of that the man who sits to give coins was very rude to me saying that we cannot sing along to the music or else he will shut it. What is the point of going to sunlight then? Thats the highlight of the bar. THE MUSIC. I told him I have paid for the coins but he refused to increase the volume! This was a very bad experience and he was very rude and disrespectful. Staff needs to change. also the food quality is not good.

Absolutely perfect place to ruin your boozing experience along with complementary headche plus harrassment with mental agony by trained to staff who can lie faster than your soda will mix with your drink... Their waiter will say card will be accepted and when it's actually a payment moment, you will be taken a aback by knowing card is not accepted and will also get free arrogance training by interacting with the arrogant waiters who didn't even serve at the table...
